Freshman Hank Weiss and sophomore Sam Dolan reach for the ball in their game against

Geneva High School at Chagrin Falls High School. The Junior Varsity boys defeated Geneva
4-0 on the bright Tuesday afternoon. The boys record was 5-1 before their game, but pushed it
to 6-1.

Sophomore Jenson Yonker rushes to his opponent at Chagrin Falls High School against
Geneva High School. Yonker is in his first year of playing boys soccer and wants to continue to
play. Yonker explained, I just started playing this year! I thought it would be fun.

Sophomore Mike Vandertill shows off his foot skills while his teammates admire him from behind
at Chagrin Falls High School against Geneva. Vandertill began playing soccer this year and will
hopefully continue to play for Chagrin Falls High School.

I included this photo in my assignment because I really liked how the rest of the team stood
behind Mike admiring him and watching him play.

Juniors Charlie Ellis and Ryan Turk discuss their previous play and prepare themselves for the
next at Chagrin Falls High School against Geneva High School. Ellis and Turk have been on the
junior varsity team for 3 years. Ellis explained, I am excited to try out for the varsity team next
year!

Sophomore Sam Dolan charges the Perry High School goalie during the boys junior varsity
home game. Dolan has been on the junior varsity team for two years and got moved up to
varsity half way through the season.

Sophomores Jenson Yonker and Mike Vandertill defend their Perry opponent at Chagrin Falls
High School.Vandertill scored more than four goals during the 2016 soccer season and hoped
to get more in the following season.

Freshman Henry Janson and sophomore Zachary Martin set the ball at center circle for the next
play. Janson enjoyed practicing with his teammates and coaches the most during the 2016
soccer season.

Junior Ryan Turk races to the ball at Chagrin Falls High School against Perry during his junior
varsity soccer game. Turk has been playing soccer for 12 years and will continue to play during
his high school career. Turk explained, I hope our team makes states. That would be
awesome!

Junior Charlie Ellis follows the ball during the boys junior varsity soccer game at Chagrin Falls
High School against Geneva High School. Ellis has counted the most on his coaches this
season because they push him during each practice to improve each day.

Sophomore Zachary Goodwin races to the ball against Geneva High School at Chagrin Falls
High School. Goodwin warmed up with teammates Owen Neilson and Nick Angelino before
each game during the 2016 season.
