Homework Week 1
The International College of the Cayman Islands(ICCI) has a wide staff whos may focus
is for the success of the students. They are willing to help at any time and are very
approachable. The President, Academic Dean, Librarian(s) and Student Support Services
Director of ICCI will be those in particular that I will go more in depth about. In ways these
individuals may assist me, who they are and what their roles are at ICCI.
The President of the International College of the Cayman Islands is Dr. David Marshall.
Hes actually the new President from when it was approved February 8, 2014 by the Board of
Trustees (ICCI President, n.d., para. 1). He has experience supervising faculty and staff,
writing accreditation reports, designing curricula, and conducting fundraising and grant
campaigns. (ICCI President, n.d., para. 4). Dr. Marshall may assist me when I dont know
understand a certain assignment on Populi, to ask about anything regarding to my
scholarship, or about the campus.
The Academic Dean for the International College of the Cayman Islands is Melisa BentHamilton, she is also a former student of the college (ICCI Academic Dean, n.d, para. 1).
Her role at ICCI is Co-chair Curriculum and Program Development Review Committee
(ICCI Academic Dean, n.d., para. 3). Ms. Melisa could assist me in deciding which classes
I should choose in every quarter and how my grades for my classes are looking.
There are two librarians at the International College of the Cayman Islands is Michelle
Gray-Williams and Navlette Bishop. Ms. Michelle provides information for students and

staff members as well as manage the Learning Resource Center (ICCI Librarians, n.d.,
para. 1). Ms. Navlette is the librarian mainly for the graduate students (ICCI Librarians,
n.d., para. 1). The librarians may assist me by showing me different books I may need to use
for the classes I am taking as well as the assignment I have to do in the library.
The Student Support Services Director of the International College of the Cayman Islands
is Maribell Rosado who also does the Career Services for the college (M. Rosado, personal
interview, October 10, 2016). Her role as the Student Support Services is to help any student
whether it is a personal problem or a problem relating to school (M. Rosado, personal
interview, October 10, 2016). In the Career Services area, she is responsible for arranging
career day, resume feedback and mock interviews regarding to the program the student is in
(M. Rosado, personal interview, October 10, 2016). Ms. Maribell may assist me by providing
with advice on any problems I may have in the future.
These staff members will help me improve on certain skills I have not yet mastered, and
be right there if I need help or have a question about the program I am undertaking.
