Before submitting application Following docs should be there

Originals docs to be carried at appointment date
1) Groom: Voter id, Driving license(Optional:Aadhar, PAN, 10 th certificate for DOB),
Affidavit on Rs10 stamp paper-notarized, marriage photo(groom with bride) to be
pasted on affidavit- photo notarized
2) Bride: Voter id, Driving license (Optional:Aadhar, PAN, 10 th certificate for DOB),
Affidavit
3) Witness 1: PAN, AADHAR, Voter id
4)Witness 2: PAN, AADHAR, Voter id
5)Plain A4 sheet having marriage photo(groom with bride) attested by gazzeted
officer
All docs
should be self
6)carry 4 passport photo of bride and groom
attested
7)marriage card

Affi page 1 can be uploaded in one place(while


filling online form) and page 2 can be in other
documents, just below all uploads for bride and
groom

Apply online at
http://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/
Register and then submit all
details.(key thing-choose area(SDM
office) as per address proof you are
submitting, not as per where the
marriage occurred)
Note the documents uploaded
should not be above 100 kb each
Applications are rejected when
1)scan is not clear, details not
visible
2)wrong address proofs etc
3)fill correct address, no repetition(of any word) should be there in address
4)self attested documents to be uploaded

Once application is submitted, no proof can be changed.to change


application needs to be deleted and then re-submitted.
Once you reach your area SDM office, verification of documents is done, the
fee is submitted, the SDM calls, then you get certificate to be signed by groom and
bride, then finally marriage certificate is obtained.takes full day
