Chapter 5 Assignment:Positive Thinking


Many people believe that if they have a positive attitude, good things will happen.They believe
that people with negative attitudes somehow prevent good things from happening. Write an
editorial in which you support the power of positive thinking. Use Brians experience as an
example of how positive thinking can help people. At the conclusion of your editorial, encourage
people to adopt positive thoughts and to see what happens.

Chapter 6 Assignment: Pick an example of a flashback in the chapter, summarize it, and
explain how it helps/hurts Brian emotionally. The flashback I picked was the thanksgiving
one.It hurts him because when he thinks about it he gets hungry again. Brian thought that the

Did you ever think you were doing something that you thought was really
happening? I have! I had a dream about me jumping off a cliff for a guy trying to promote my
Self to a party but I said no it made him really mad about that .So he tried to force me out of
town by trying to bulldoze me of the clift. But I got away by getting saved by superman and
batman.

If I was in a tsunami and survived I would be

could have cuts and scrachies. But it could change the shape of me.And I
could be taken away from my home end up in the middle of nowhere.So
