Computer

- computers are not very intelligent devices, but they handle

instructions flawlessly and fast. They must follow explicit directions
from both the user and computer programmer. Computers are
really nothing more than a very powerful calculator with some
great accessories. Applications like word processing and games are
just a very complex math problem.

Point, line, and Plane

are the building blocks of design. From these elements, designers
create images, icons, textures, patterns, diagrams, animations, and
typographic systems.
Point - marks a position in space. In pure geometric terms, a point
is a pair of x, y coordinates. It has no mass at all.
Line - is an infinite series of points. Understood geometrically, a
line has length, but no breadth. A line is the connection between
two points, or it is the path of a moving point.
Plane - is a flat surface extend–ding in height and width. A plane is
the path of a moving line; it is a line with breadth. A line closes to
become a shape, a bounded plane.

prefix - is an element placed at the beginning of a word to

adjust or qualify its meaning, for example de-, non-, and re-.

suffix - is an element placed at the end of a word to form a

derivative, such as -ation, -fy, -ing, frequently one that converts
the stem into another part of speech.

Journalism
- is the investigation and reporting of events, issues, and trends
to a broad audience. Although there is much variation within
journalism, the ideal is to inform the citizenry. Besides covering
organizations and institutions such as government and business,
journalism also covers cultural aspects of society such as arts
and entertainment. The field includes jobs such
as editing, photojournalism, and documentary.
