ABOUT THE COURSE

This 2-day module takes you through the systematic process of preparing and scheduling a
performance appraisal interview. It provides you with the steps required to conduct an effective
performance appraisal interview, guides you through the various methods to encourage staff
development, and finally explores the types of reward or recognition you can use to increase staff
motivation and satisfaction.
Once you have mastered the steps in each section, you will be confident in developing and
executing an effective performance appraisal system that will help your staff or colleagues grow
together with your company.

ASSESSMENT
At the end of the module, learners are required to complete a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes of
summative assessment, comprising a written assessment, role plays and oral questioning. Upon
successful completion of assessment, they will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA).
Upon successful completion of assessment for the rest of modules under the WSQ Diploma in Food
& Beverage Management, they will be awarded a WSQ Diploma in Food & Beverage Management.
