STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
First of all I would like to introduce myself as Mr. Chiranjibi Gyawali from Butwal, Rupendehi,
Nepal. I am 22 years young and single. I have passed School Leaving Certificate (S.L.C.) from
Scholars Home Boarding School, Butwal, Nepal with first division (66.75%) in 2008, Higher
Secondary Education Board (HSEB) from Oxford Higher Secondary School, Butwal, Nepal with first
division (60.1%) in 2010 and have completed Bachelor of Business Administration, four years
program of Pokhara University from Crimson College of Technology (CCT), Butwal, Nepal with GPA
of 2.97 out of 4 in 2014/15. My exams were finished in December 2014 and result was published in
March 2015.
I gave the last exam of the bachelor degree in 28th December 2014. After that in the free time I had
done internship program in Everest bank limited Butwal Branch for 6 weeks from mid of January to
February last date that is from 7 th January to 27th February. The internship program was non-paid.
Result of bachelor degree program was published in last week of the March 2015, as soon as result
was published I made my mind to go for my master degree in abroad, so, I choose Australia and go for
research about the university over there and I stock in CQ University which was matching my destiny
to post graduate in Marketing. So, I applied in CQU for July session and got the offer letter for July
session. But due to the earthquake disaster of 25 th April 2015 and continuous aftershock of main
earthquake the bank and financial institution remained closed for more than two week which cost me
July session. The convocation program of my bachelor degree held in June 3 rd and the officially I
graduate from bachelor degree in June 3rd 2015. During that time period I did not involve in any part
time job or internship program. Once again I applied for offer letter for November session and I got
the offer letter in 24th of June 2015. As soon as I got the offer letter I consult with educational
consultancy (Nepal International Education Consultancy) in Kathmandu, Hence, I am from Butwal, I
immediately moved to Kathmandu to visit and consult for the documentation process to the
consultancy and they guide me to make the require documentation academically and financially to
support my study over there. After three day stay in Kathmandu I moved with the guidance paper
provided by the consultancy to my home town Butwal and from the very next day I moved to the
specific place to make my document. And in the process I have to travel Gulmi district of Nepal which
is located 150 kilo meter away from my home town Butwal because my citizenship was issued from
Gulmi district. And in the process of documentation and bank work for the loan sanction letter it took
nearly 45 days. As soon as my bank loan and documentation was complete I again moved to
consultancy in Kathmandu with the required documentation.

Now, I am intended to complete my post graduate program which is Master of Marketing from Central
Queensland University (CQU), Australia which is one of the Australias good universities and globally
recognized for its education standard and quality education. After long research and browsing the site
related to Australian Educational System, rules and regulation, universities location, accommodation

cost and other things related to my study, I have chosen Master of Marketing, two years post graduate
program in CQ University.
The basic reason I want to study in Australia is its globally reputed and reorganization of Australian
degree all over the world. I also want to learn firsthand knowledge in global context. I want to take
advantage of such specialized course which will widen my knowledge and develop creativity inside
me. On the other hand, Australia society is sophisticated and largely harmonious so, interaction with
other people will improve my secondary language (English) too. Along with this qualities, Australia
also has low crime rate, so its safest destination in the world with acceptable unique environment to
heat my goal.
The willingness of employers worldwide to hire Australian graduates proves beyond doubt that the
world has been convinced about the excellent caliber of the Australian graduates. There is no doubt
that graduates from Australian universities are highly sought after due to the impressive international
reputation of the Australian education system. Australian education is recognized all over the world
and this will create ample opportunities to get highly rewarding job within my country or anywhere
around the world.
I choose CQU for my further study because I know it is ranked well and the one of the best university
for international students. I saw that education delivers for the student was quality and globally
accepted, validated and recognized for world class classroom, lectures and updates facilities. It has
wide access to library resources with updated books, material and peace environment for study. With
more than 20 years of history, CQU is the best university in Australia for the international students.
CQU values leadership, can do approach, openness and inclusiveness with students and other
stakeholders.
As I am a student of management and studied management administration course in bachelor level, I
am planning to do masters level program on marketing sector which is Master of Marketing. I must
say that I am marketing theory enthusiast; I have been studying marketing since my higher level which
leads me more interest in marketing sector. The dependency of the nation into business and trade are
higher, however, besides some developed nation, the rest many nations are still not updated with
challenging theories and principles in marketing sectors.
The Master of Marketing aims to provide specialist marketing education and training that will permit
me to operate as a marketing specialist in the international and domestic business spheres. As per this
global age, marketing occupy a lot of area and by studying the master of Marketing there will be a lot
of opportunities in national level as well as in international market. My ambition is to be marketing
leader in the domestic market as per the country is in developing phase and there will a lot of chances
and opportunities with new business with new ideas and for existing business also.

I am planning to do my further study from CQU, Sydney campus on full time basis. As per I know
Sydney is little more expensive city but I can definitely benefited from multi cultural environment of
high academic and achievement of one of the safest city of the world. So it is safe for international
student who are living far from their family.

After completion of my study I will return back to my country and do put my new ideas and policies
as per I studied there over the time. As a graduate it will boost my career options in middle or top
management positions in industry, commerce or government in core areas of marketing. This program
will assist me in enhancing my career in the areas of marketing, entrepreneurship, new product
development, product management and advertising management mainly in domestic market as well in
international sector also. Hence, this would be very much beneficial for me and this is how I would
recoup the expenses that I invest for my study in Australia.
The annual cost of study in CQU would be around AUD 21,260 per year and the living cost would be
around AUD 18610 per year. To cover this cost, I would like to take financial support from my father
and brother. They have sufficient income and financial resources to support my studies in Australia. I
am also planning to secure an education loan from a local bank to fund my studies. With above
financial back up, I am sure I can comfortably complete my studies in Australia.
Hence, I request to consider my application and provide me a place of study at your esteemed
university to fulfill my quest of education and future plans.
