Schedule options: a total of 4 consecutive weeks. First week to be onsite. Weeks 2 and 3 to be
delivered via remote connection. Week 4 will be onsite. Engagement is tentatively scheduled to begin
in late February or early March 2011. Date will be finalized when this SOW is executed.
Travel and Living:
To be invoiced at cost if incurred. However, if current plan to provide some services
remotely can be adhered to, T&L costs will only be incurred for week one.

Tampa and remote.
Services: Consultant will perform the work as described below:

Background and Context:


The JWB Childrens Services Council has developed a functioning BI solution. This solution needs to be
enhanced with the integration of financial data and some additional Geo-coding fields. These
enhancements will boost the value of the solution to the end users who need good insight into the ROI of
the services being offered through their universe of service providers. Once the financial data has been
integrated into the solution, a number of reports will be needed to permit various departments to analyse
the data.
Engagement Details:
This engagement will achieve the following:
Integrate Financial data (Weeks 1-3)
o Identify the financial and geocode data that needs to be added to the data warehouse
and cube
o Identify and implement changes to the data warehouse data model and cube to receive
the new data
o Identify business rules and transformations that need to be applied to the new data
during integration
o Develop the SSIS packages needed to load the new data into the Data Warehouse and
cube
o Introduce users to new data items available in the data warehouse and cube
Report sprint to include the following (week 4):
o Include IT personnel and report users from several departments
o Review data currently available in DW and cube with users
o Show a report sample
Both Target and SSRS reports
Pinella would be responsible for the Target part
o Demo/Train on report builder 3.0 for power user SSRS report development
o Demo/Train on excel pivot tables
o Define a few reports that each user department needs
o Develop as many of these reports as possible with time left in the week

Adam Jorgensen, MBA, MCDBA, MCITP: BI has over a decade of experience leading organizations
around the world in developing and implementing enterprise solutions. His passion is finding
new and innovative avenues for our clients and the community to embrace Business Intelligence
and lower barriers to implementation. His focus is on mentoring senior management and
technical teams to realize the value in the data they already own, while accelerating the
technology learning curve. Adam is also very involved in the community as a featured author on
SQLServerCentral and SQLShare, as well as his contributions to the SQLPASS Virtual User Groups
for Business Intelligence and other organizations. He regularly speaks at industry group events,
major conferences, Code Camps, and SQLSaturday events on strategic and technical topics.

Consultant non-solicitation agreement:


Purchaser agrees that during the term of this Statement of Work and for a period of one (1) year
thereafter, purchaser shall not without the prior written consent of Pragmatic Works solicit the
services of or offer employment to any Pragmatic Works employee or sub contractor that has
participated in the engagement defined by this Statement of Work.

Notes: If purchaser requests changes that increase the scope or schedule of the work
described herein, Pragmatic Works will provide purchaser with a written estimate for the
additional time and cost required and will not proceed without written approval from the
purchaser.

Conditions:
Payment Terms: Payment is due net 15 days.
Down payment of $9000 (25%) will be invoiced and is due when SOW is executed.
Engagement cancellation or rescheduling with less than 30 days written notice is subject to a
cancellation/reschedule fee of 80% of the total price above plus any non-refundable Travel and Living
expenses incurred for this engagement by Pragmatic Works.
This statement of work contains the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject
matter hereof and supersedes any and all other agreements and communications, written or oral,
express or implied with respect thereto.
All prices are in US Dollars. All applicable state and local taxes, shipping and handling and out of
pocket expenses shall be as indicated on the invoice. Any amounts payable by Licensee that remain
unpaid after the due date shall be subject to a late charge of 1.5% of the invoice amount per month
from the due date until such amount is paid, or the maximum rate permitted by law if less.
