group principles and processes learned in this class. When appropriate, include
illustrative examples in order to fully answer the question.
Please respond to the following questions: 1, 1A, 1B or 2, 2A or 2B, & 2C,
and 3, 3A, 3B, 4.
Note: None of your fellow co-learners will see your comments so please write
honestly about your experiences. The suggested number of pages for this assignment

1. How did you decide who you wanted to be in your group for the
facilitation? Discuss three of the biggest factors such as:
similarities, differences, proximity in seating, status hierarchies-,
communication styles-, social styles-, those who follow the class
norms, having a shared vision and goal commitment level-,
cohesion, or any other three factors that influenced you.
1A. Enlighten me about why or why not you would choose to take
another facilitations with these individuals.
1B. What would influence you the next time that you had to decide
who you want as a partner for a group project?

2. Although you may not have completed your teach and facilitation
assignment yet, please answer the following questions based on
your experiences with your group thus far.
Who in your opinion is/was the leader of your group? What
has he or she done to exhibit leadership status?

2B. Write about yourself as a member of your facilitation group by
giving an account of your top two strengths or skills that contributed
to your groups effectiveness.
2C. Reflect upon your areas of improvement. Share something about
a skill or behavior that you want to change in order to contribute
more effectively for a future facilitation.

3. List which influential tactics you would use to persuade your
HRD 320 professor that you deserve the maximum participation
points for the semester.
3A. Share your rationalization for selecting these tactics.
3B. State what you would say to actually influence your professor.
4. Discuss from your observations four types of power your HRD 320
professor holds by justifying your opinions with an example to
support each type of power that you listed.
