Graduation Dissertation: "Mechanical Design and Control of Fixed Pitch - Variable Speed
Medium Wind Turbine for electricity generation".

RESEARCH INTERESTS
System Dynamics, Finite element applications in nonlinear mechanics, Automation and
Control, Robotics and Microelectromechanical Systems.

WORK EXPERIENCE
[Sep. 2012 Present] Mechanical Design and Production Department, Cairo University,
Faculty of Engineering, Giza, Egypt
Research Assistant

Designed and Modeled a Compliant Mechanism used in Vibration-Based harvester

that is able to power micro-scale devices. In this research we develop a compliant
mechanism for vibration displacement amplification. We developed an analytical
model to calculate the displacement amplification, stresses and fatigue generated
due to loading variation. We are developing an experimental setup to evaluate the
performance of the system.

Teaching Assistant

Providing assistance in teaching Mechanical Engineering undergraduate courses,

including: Stress Analysis; Mechanical Structure; Theory of machines; Automatic

control; Modeling, Simulation and Robotics; Mechanism Design; Pressure Vessels and
Piping; Machine drawing; Group design project.
Conducted tutorial and laboratory sessions. Responsibilities included collaboration
on curriculum and exam development, meeting with students upon request, and
grading written work, including midterm exam papers, judging Students course
presentations. Administering all grades.

INTERNSHIPS
