Happy
New Year!
I cannot believe it is 2017, but we
are very excited to see what the year
has in store for KidsCare Therapy.

2016 was a year of many

adventures; mostly good, but
some bad. We were able to
reach more patients by expanding
into the Houston metroplex. We are
now in 7 major cities and their
surrounding areas servicing over
124 counties. Our commercial
increased to 10% of our total census
in which we continue to look to grow
this particular population. Despite major
policy change, our visits increased by about
9% which is not a small feat in this
ever-changing environment. As 2017 rolls
out, we will continue to look for ways to serve
more patients and diversify our business.

We continue to fight for restoration of rates as the cut went into

effect on December 15th. We continue to educate our states
leaders on the importance of access to high quality professional
care for children who have medically complex needs. You have
already demonstrated your commitment to our patients by
increasing your patients visits by covering for your co-workers and
staffing new and waitlisted patients. We are very grateful to you!
Continue to pick up as many patients as you can to offset the cut.
At the same time, our back office will continue to improve processes
and communication to ensure all patients get the therapy they need
timely.
Thank you for all you do for KidsCare Therapy, our patients and
their families. We are appreciative that each and every one of you
have chosen to make KidsCare your home. We all are working
towards achieving your childs goals, one step at a time.
