A. Business Problem
PT.PLN (Persero) adalah sebuah perusahaan BUMN yang mengurusi semua aspek kelistrikan yang ada di Indonesia. Dalam
proses bisnis PT. PLN (Persero) meliputi proses pembangkit, transmisi, dan distribusi. Akan tetapi penyebaran tenaga listrik di
indonesia ini belum merata seperti yang terjadi di wilayah sumatra bagian selatan sehingga masih diperlukan upaya untuk
dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat, melalui perluasan jaringan transmisi pada daerah daerah yang kurang jaringan
transmisinya.
Sementra itu UIP sumatra bagian selatan saat ini belum dapat menyediakan jaringan transmisi untuk wilayah sumatra bagian
selatan khususnya wilayah palembang sampai lampung dikarenakan keterbatasan pendanaan . Sehingga menimbulkan
masalah berikut dalam operasi sehari- hari:

Adanya devisit daya untuk wilayah lampung.

Sering terjadinya pemadam bergilir.

Wilayah geografinya sulit terjangkau.

Tantangan tambahan lainnya bagi UIP sumatra bagian Selatan datang dari direksi PT. PLN yaitu dapat membangun jaringan
transmisi untuk wilayah palembang sampai lampung.
