On behalf of the organizing committee, we are delighted to invite you to the
workshop on Neuropsychiatry on 4th and 5th September to be held at Institute of
Neurosciences, Kolkata under the auspices of the Indian Psychiatric Society,
West Bengal State Branch. The workshop will include interactive sessions on
various aspects of Neuropsychiatric disorders namely Dementia, Delirium and
psychiatric disorders in the setting of Parkinsonism, epilepsy, brain tumour,
traumatic brain injury etc. The emphasis will be on developing skills for
assessment and treatment of cognitive and emotional disturbances caused by brain
dysfunction. Please find attached the lay-out of the academic program.

to be submitted online. All submissions should be by word document format only, not by pdf
format.

Last date for submission of poster abstracts: 31st July, 2014
Abstract Submission Guidelines
All abstracts must be submitted in English, font Times New Roman, size 12.
Abstract title to be limited to 150 characters
Abstract text to be limited to 250 words and is to be structured within the following
headings:
Objectives: (indicate the purpose of the study or hypothesis that was tested)
Methods: (include the setting for the study, the subjects, and the type of statistical
analysis; if references are needed, they should be given in the text)
Results: (present as clearly as possible the outcome of the study and statistical
significance if appropriate)
Conclusion: (briefly discuss the data and emphasize the significance of the results)
