NARK KN Reagent, Marijuana, (green plant & seeds), 10 Tests

Description
A presumptive field test designed to identify THC in Marijuana dried plant material, seeds or fresh
green plant. In states like Georgia where they have a Marijuana recognition course for Court
purposes, this test is used in sequence with the #NARK2005 Duquenois-Levine Reagent and
microscope identification. The 2nd ampoule will develop a layering tomato paste red color
indicating a positive reaction. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the KN Reagent is meant for
presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Duquenois Reagent, Marijuana, Hashish, THC, 10 Tests

Description
This presumptive test is designed to identify THC in Marijuana. This original chemistry was the
foundation for the three ampoule Duquenois-Levine (more specific) but is recognized as an
excellent test for THC. The 1st ampoule should be agitated for sixty (60) seconds. No color should
develop (THC is a clear colored substance). If a color does develop, you may have a false positive.
The 2nd ampoule with show a very fleeting flash Green color before developing a definitive
midrange Purple. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the Mayers Reagent is meant for
presumptive field drug testing. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the Duquenois Reagent is
meant for presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Cobalt-Thiocyanate Reagent, Cocaine, Crack, 10 Tests

Description
Not a specific field test for Cocaine only. This reagent will identify Cocaine; Procaine and
Tetracaine with Blue flakes in the 1st ampoule. These same Blue flakes will slightly dissolve after
breakage and agitation of the 2nd ampoule. The #NAR10013 Modified Cobalt Thiocyanate
Reagent is a more specific test for Cocaine. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the CobaltThiocyanate Reagent is meant for presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Modified Cobalt-Thiocyanate Reagent, Cocaine Freebase, Crack, 10

Tests

Description
The modified version of the Cobalt Thiocyanate is a more specific field test for Cocaine and will
distinguish between Cocaine HCl and Cocaine Base. Cocaine HCl will develop a Blue solution in
the 1st ampoule as well as a sticky Blue residue adhering to the inside of the tube. The 2nd
ampoule will remain Blue. No base caines (procaine;dibucaine;tetracine) will develop the sticky
blue residue in the 1st ampoule. Cocaine Base will not dissolve in the 1st ampoule and will develop
a Pink solution with Blue adhering to the particles of Cocaine Base introduced to the tube. Like all
our NARK narcotic field tests, the Modified Cobalt Thiocyanate Reagent is meant for presumptive
field drug testing.

ARK Sodium Nitroprusside Reagent, Meth, MDMA, 10 Tests

Description
The sodium nitroprusside reagent is designed to color react with the secondary amines present in
both Methamphetamine and MDMA (Ecstasy). This presumptive field test will develop an
IMMEDIATE (within 2 seconds) Dark Purple or Dark Blue color as a positive reaction after
breakage and agitation of the 2nd ampoule. If the color development is an immediate Pink slowly
transforming to Lavender, you DO NOT have either Methamphetamine or MDMA. This color
reaction suggests you should proceed to the #NAR10002 Marquis Reagent for either
Amphetamines or analogs of MDMA (referred to as Letter Drugs). Like all our NARK narcotic field
tests, the Sodium Nitroprusside Reagent is meant for presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Mecke's Modified Reagent, All Heroin, 10 Tests

Description
A presumptive field test designed to identify the semi-synthetic opiates of Heroin (white, brown and
black tar). A distinct Green color will develop after the breakage and agitation of the 2nd ampoule.
Due to brown and black tar Heroin having a dark resin, place very small amounts of substance in
the pouch. If the Green color is not easily seen, turn the tube upside down, allow the dark liquid to
drain into the new bottom of the tube and observe the Green color adhering to the glass shards at
the new top of the tube. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the Meckes Modified Reagent is
meant for presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Special Opiates Reagent, Codeine, Heroin, Oxycodone, 10 Tests

Description
A specific field test designed to presumptively identify synthetic opiates like Oxycodone,
Hydrocodone and Fentanyl. If the substance is found in a tablet or capsule form, reduce to powder
prior to testing. All of these synthetic opiates; Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Fentanyl will develop
a Yellow color for a positive reaction. Due to the strength and absorption properties of Fentanyl,
you are strongly advised to nitrile gloves when testing all suspected synthetic opiates. Like all our
NARK narcotic field tests, the Special Opiates Reagent is meant for presumptive field drug
testing.

NARK PCP, Methaqualone Reagent, PCP, Methaqualone, 10 Tests

Description
Due to the potential of absorption of hallucinogenics, we strongly advise using nitrile gloves when
testing PCP (Phencyclidine). Designed to presumptively identify both PCP and Methaqualone the
1st ampoule will develop Pink followed by a Blue color in the 2nd ampoule in the presence of both
PCP and Methaqulone. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the PCP, Methaqualone Reagent is
meant for presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Ehrlichs Reagent, Hallucinogens, 10 Tests

Description
Due to the potential for absorption of LSD when handling, take precautions by using nitrile gloves
and wash hands thoroughly after handling. Presumptive test designed to indicate the presence of
d-lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). Introduce LSD powder directly into the test but moisten an
absorbent material with liquid LSD, air dry for 45 seconds, then place in the pouch for testing. Like
all our NARK narcotic field tests, the Ehrlichs Reagent is meant for presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Mandelin Reagent, Amphetamines, 10 Tests

Description
The Mandelin Reagent is not designed as a specific field test, but rather a general screening test to
direct you to the presumptive field tests for Methadone, Amphetamines or Methamphet-amine. Like
all our NARK narcotic field tests, the Mandelin Reagent is meant for presumptive field drug
testing.

NARK Dille-Koppanyi Reagent, Barbiturates, 10 Tests

Description
The Dille-Koppanyi formula is designed to presumptively identify Barbiturates in a tablet or capsule
form. Reduce the tablet to powder or open the capsule for the powder, introduce to the pouch for a
positive Lavender color reaction. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the Dille-Koppanyi Reagent
is meant for presumptive field drug testing.

NARK Nitric Acid Reagent, Heroin, Morphine, 10 Tests

Description
This is NOT a primary test. Nitric Acid is designed to differentiate between Heroin/Morphine.
Agencies looking to confirm the presence of Heroin should use the specific test #NARK20011
Meckes Modified Reagent. Like all our NARK narcotic field tests, the Nitric Acid Reagent is meant
for presumptive field drug testing.
