Characterisation
A western type voice is used in the production, and the voice indicates the
people may be in there 30s or 40s due the voices they have. From the storyline
we can tell that the characters are officers, as he describes the daily events that
occur in the town he lives in, and the particular deadly event he describes in the
story.
Music
A constant sound track is placed in the radio drama at the begging on the
drama, where the main character is narrating over the drama. However, when
the story begins to unfold the main audio heard is the actual dialogue and the
sound effects that have been added in. This technique has meant that certain
things have been exaggerated to make it seem more realistic throughout.
Silence
There are a few short pauses when the drama begins to reach a higher point,
where it tries to emphasise what is actually happening. There are also constant
silences when the scene is changing or a different character begins to talk, to
show a significant change in what is actually happening in the radio drama.
Characterisation
There are quite a few different characters that are in the radio drama, however
all of them tend to be male
Music
Music is used in the introduction to introduce the radio, and slowly fades out
when the speech comes in.
Silence
There can be pauses, when a different character or a setting change happens,
which shows a clear change for the audience.
