After a long (2-3 m in length) row of

short ropes is achieved, comb the short
ropes into a row of fine raffia hairs by
using the needles.

1. Cut the raffia ropes into 20 cm-long

ropes. These short ropes will be used as
the hair of the duster.

5. Trim the hair (if needed). Then untie

the long raffia rope from the table leg.
Wrap the rope around the stick, like a
spiral.

2. Extend a piece of raffia rope from one

leg of a table to another.

6. Leave of the stick free to be used as

the duster handle.

3. Tie the short ropes into the extended

rope.
