Best Practices The day

General

Keep the language simple, avoid technical wording. (platform is an exception)

Always aim to be relevant to your audience, to their business.

Encourage participants to try SAP Lumira prior to the workshop

Show Lumira live on the screen as often as possible, its better to show it rather than talk about it.

Demo

Be succinct, and focus on telling a Business Story, not on Lumira functionality

Always Pick a dataset relevant to your audience.

Bring an ipad and hand it around for others to log into their Lumira Cloud account.

Show focus on sharing and collaboration (Cloud+Mobi)

Avoid Excel-like Demo, use advanced features in your story.

Create your own script (to be shared with colleagues)

Preparation for the exercise

Ensure the attendees Lumira desktop installation is up-to-date, and their Lumira Cloud account is
working (have backup laptops available).

Bring the audience to a minimum Analytics Knowledge (Dataset, Dimension, Measure, Hierarchies, etc)

Advise your Lumira expert team to be on-call to support product questions during workshop hours.

Geo-References fails to match (due to special characters) Run a macro to substitute them

C:\Users\Public\sapvi

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\SAP\Lumira

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\sapvi
