DEFORESTATION
(a)
What do you mean by deforestation? (b) What are the
effects of deforestation? (c) How can you save the country
from it? (d) What is your suggestion about it? (d) How can
you influence people about it? (f) Do you think every man
and woman should plant a tree?
Deforestation means destroying our forest land by cutting
down trees at a large scale. We need trees for oxygen. Trees
provide shelter for birds and animals. They provide oxygen
without which no animals can exist. To destroy trees means
to destroy life on earth. So human must not act foolishly and
destroy forests. To maintain the ecological balance in a
country, scientists say, we need 24% forest land compared
to the total area. We, in Bangladesh, however, have only
15%. So, it is essential to increase our forest land by planting
more and more trees. At the same time, we have to prevent
people from cutting down trees. For this, what
we need most is to organize a social movement and mobilize
people to realize the importance of trees. At the present
situation, I think every man and woman must plant at least
one or two trees. The social movement, as I started above,
surely will go a long way to encourage people in a
forestation and discourage in deforestation.

Traffic Jam means blockade (

are a number of reasons of traffic jam. Unlicensed and
unauthorized rickshaws are the main causes of traffic jam.
Violating (
) traffic rules and regulations, illegal
parking of vehicles on roads also causes traffic jam. Again,
narrow roads and frequent digging (

development work, cause traffic jam. Building materials piled
(
) on roads cause traffic jam too. Whatever the cause
of traffic jam may be, it is a great threat of urban people. In

fixed way to solve this problem. It requires united action (

removed from the roadsides. In some places, government

the traffic rules and regulations. We should not cross the
roads in an indisciplined way (
