Study the following statement

Kaji pernyataan berikut:
Marina uses a magnifying glass to read small print. She found that in order to get a clear
writing while using thin lens, she need to distance the lens from the book. On the other hand,
if using thick lenses, she should get it closer to the lens. This situation shows that the
thickness of the lens affects the focal length of the convex lens.
Marina menggunakan kanta pembesar untuk membaca tulisan yang kecil. Dia mendapati
bahawa untuk mendapatkan tulisan yang jelas semasa menggunakan kanta nipis, dia perlu
menjauhkan sedikit kanta itu daripada buku. Sebaliknya, sekiranya menggunakan kanta tebal,
dia perlu mendekatkan kanta itu dengan buku. Situasi ini menunjukkan bahawa ketebalan
kanta mempengaruhi jarak fokus kanta cembung.
