Christmas run
Because I am a good shape now, I decided to do one more race on 26
December, the tenth and last of this year: the Christmas run near the
castle in Gemert. It was crowded and there were fast people present. To
my surprise, the course was partly unpaved and very muddy and slippery;
so I had the wrong shoes on and had to be careful not to slide and fall. The

blue knitted hat and black glove. It was so crowded before the
start that the race had to be postponed 15 minutes.

Koppelcross
On 18 December I took part in the Koppelcross, a relay race where a
runner is paired to a cyclist. There is an article with photo on the web site

Autobiographical material

Q.M.C. #5 statistics
A new statistical report for Qoymans Multiple-Choice #5, with new
norms; this version of the test (#5) works well, and it has become slightly
easier to qualify for the Glia and Giga Societies. One can now even qualify
for the Grail Society:

Training year
Since this has been a very good year so far for running, at least as far
as race results are concerned, I decided to publish this year's training
diary; the month December will be added early next year:

In particular, it should be noticed how little training has been done, how
relatively low the intensity is, and how injuries have kept me from training
rather much of the time. I often think it would be better to only run races
and not train at all.
Cross-country race
On 20 November I ran another race in the series "Rooise crosslopen";
there are two more early next year. I will try to get in the top 3 in the final

Advertisements
I have now removed all Google Adsense advertisements from my web
sites, and replaced them with advertisements for my I.Q. tests web site
(except for on the I.Q. tests site itself, where that would make little sense,
and where I have placed other advertisements). I expect that the loss of
advertisement income will thus be partly compensated by extra test orders.

It took over ten years to arrive at this amount of data, which is

excellent, considering that popularity is a bad indicator of quality. Although,
as everyone knows, I am not one to blow my own trumpet, I must say I am
delighted to see that this magnificent test, which I see as a tribute to
someone I knew who committed suicide, is not only an artistic masterpiece
but also works sublimely in the psychometric sense. Had he had the chance
to attempt it, he might have said something like "My brain hurts!"
