failure,life threatening asthma,COPD,pneumonia,weaning from
mechanical ventilation,non invasive ventilation,pneumothorax
and use of antibiotics.
CRITICAL CARE INFECTIOUS DISEASE
Principles governing use of antimicrobial therapy,antifungals
and
antivirals
in
ICU,with
special
consideration
to
immunocompromised and post surgical patients.

RENAL AND METABOLIC CRITICAL CARE


Adept in handling nephrology complications like acute renal
failure, chronic renal failure, and Acid Base, electrolytes and
Metabolic abnormalities like Acid Base homeostasis, potassium
homeostasis, water homeostasis, calcium, magnesium and
phosphorous homeostasis. Acute /chronic graft versus host
disease. He is also capable of handling patients with the above
underlying diseases and who present with other multiple
problems.
Well versed with endocrine emergencies like Diabetic
Ketoacidosis and other Diabetic comas, Thyroid Storm,
Myxedema Coma, Addisons disease, Adrenal Crisis etc.
GASTROINTESTINAL CRITICAL CARE

Working knowledge of cases with upper GI bleed, acute


pancreatitis, alcoholic liver disease, non alcoholic liver failure,
hepatorenal syndrome and lower GI bleed.well versed with day
care anaesthesia for upper GI endoscopy.Good knowledge of
nutritional support to patient without enteral feeding.
ONCO CRITICAL CARE
Adept in handling oncology complications like metabolic and
endocrine complications, cardiac complications in cancer
patients, pulmonary complications in cancer patients including
hemoptysis,
infectious
complications
such
as
febrile
neutropenia, and neurologic complications in cancer patients,
gastrointestinal complications including chemotherapy induced
gastrointestinal dysfunctions, hematologic complications and
acute /chronic graft versus host disease. Good knowledge about
paraneoplastic syndrome and tumor lysis syndrome.
ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY (A&E)
