A licensed premises can refuse entry to remove a patron if intoxicated or behaving antisocial in some
way. Under The Liquor Act, the person is banned from the venue for 24 hours. However, the venue may
also establish it's own barring code, which needs to be communicated clearly to patrons, whereby they
may be banned for a specified time period (e.g., two months). Local venues may wish to work together to

After refuse to sell any more drinks, I would ask to my manager to have a chat with the customer and
explain because he seems to be intoxicated we cannot sell drinks and he needs to leave.
