Welcome to your correspondence course assessment booklet.
This assessment booklet has been customised and linked to your student training record. This document should not be shared
with anyone else. If there are multiple people undertaking the training then each person is required to work off their own

For this correspondence course, you will be assessed with a combination of multiple choice and short answer questions.
There are: 34 multiple choice questions and 34 short answer questions
You are required to answer ALL questions correctly.

2. Open the assessment booklet from its saved location and complete each of the questions. Do not work of the version in

A licensed premises can refuse entry to remove a patron if intoxicated or behaving antisocial in some
way. Under The Liquor Act, the person is banned from the venue for 24 hours. However, the venue may
also establish it's own barring code, which needs to be communicated clearly to patrons, whereby they
may be banned for a specified time period (e.g., two months). Local venues may wish to work together to
establish multi-venue barring policies for consistency. If the patron ignores being barred, venues can

Hint: if you refuse to serve a person becuase you think they are intoxicated, is that person allowed to remain on the premises? If
not, what would you say to them?

After refuse to sell any more drinks, I would ask to my manager to have a chat with the customer and
explain because he seems to be intoxicated we cannot sell drinks and he needs to leave.
