Advantages and Disadvantages mode of Delivery speech an Oral

Communication
1.Reading from a Manuscript:
In case of long speeches it may be necessary to read parts of your
manuscript.It is also an effective choice when you want to have the greatest control of the
working of your speech.

Advantages:
Formal Type:
It is a formal type of delivery .you deliver your message in a formal way.
Effective Choice:
It is also an effective choice when to have the greatest control of the wording of your
speech.
Precise wording:
You will probably use a manuscript when speaking on a highly sensitive topic for
which it is important to have a precise wording.
New method:
In which you can use laptop ,compuer instead of paper,notes and pages.
Disadvantages:
Avoid extra speech:
Avoid reading the entire speech word by word .Extra speech make audience feeling
bored.
Maintain eye contact:
Maintain eye contact with audience to draw a attention of audience .if you not maintain
eye contact sp audience can not understand the speaker gesture.
Short summary:
In which through out short summary made your speech very formal.
Exhibit from Memory:

In which exhibit a naturalstyle. In reading from a manuscript the speaker deliver

speech formaly instead of natural style.

2. Presenting From Memory:

Unless you have had training and practice memorizing long passages of text the
memorized mode is the hardest to pull off.

Advantages:
Memorized Ability:
Personal abilty ancreased .when they provide information.
No need to traing and practicing:
In which you have not need training and practicing memorized long passages of text.
Enhance memory:
When you are stored many thing in our mind so your memory enhanced .

3.Imprmptu speech:
The impromptu speech occurs with little or no time for preparation.The reduced
chances for analyzing the audience.
Advantages of Impromptu Speech:
a test of your thinking on your feet, with the ability to give a spontaneous response;
an opportunity to hone your intellectual horsepower, especially in strategising a quick
response;
your ability to size up situations is always put to the test, thus honing your knack for it;
in some way, it's a baptism of fire!
it's also a leadership skill!
Disadvantages of Impromptu Speech:
not room for verifying facts on the fly;
words once spoken cannot be backtracked;
your anxiety index goes up, thus putting you in stress mode;
incidence of errors is relatively high, but with practice, it can be ameliorated;

4.Speaking Extemporaneously:
When you a un wantented conditions so the speaker thinks own mind.
Topic choice:
In which selected topic according to their interest. So you can prepare topic
properly.
Plaining specific topic:
Planning directly to the specific topic ,objects and key points .
Confidence:
Being to apply the guidelines, even while walking or turning to face the audience .
