Introduction
It was a strong pain in front of my stomach I felt like I was going to die. It was at 4:00am, and i
threw up like five time because the pain was very strong. Then, at 6:40, I came to school and
threw up again. The pain continued growing more and more strong, after that I went to the
Newcomer Center and a nurse notice that I was not well. AShe asked me if I felt good or not or
what was going on and she said I was really sick and she decided to call the ambulance. The
ambulance brought me to the hospital, where the doctors thought it was something with the
appendix. However, when they did an ultrasound they found kidney stones in my right kidney.
When they did some x-rays they found more kidney stones in my left kidney, but they were too
little and the ones in my right kidney were too big to pass through the urethra and they decided
to make me a laser surgery, but when it was going to happen the kidney stones moved up and
they cannot founded it, then the doctor put me a catheter for like two weeks. Kidney health is
important.
Kidney function:
Kidney are sophisticated trash collectors. Every day your kidneys process about 200
quarts of blood to sift out about 2 quarts of waste products and extra water. The waste
product and extra water become urine, and it flows through your bladder. Kidneys clean
our blood. Also Kidneys keep balance of salt and minerals in our blood pressure. When
our kidneys waste products and fluid, it can build in our body causing swelling in your
ankles, vomiting, weakness and poor sleep and short breaths. Everybody has two kidneys
in each side of the lower back, each kidney contains up to a million of nephros. Nephro
consist in filtering tiny blood vessels called glomerulus attached to a tubule. When blood
enters in the glomerulus, it is filtered and the remaining fluids
passes along the tubule. When the blood enters water and chemicals are either added
to
or remove from this filtered according to the bodys needs, and finally it becomes urine.
Treatments:
For dialysis you must need to do hemodialysis , peritoneal and kidney transplant
