Abstract

The study is entitled “Correlation of birth order on academic performance of level III Nursing
students of San Juan de Dios Educational Foundation Inc.”
The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship of birth and academic performance of
140 randomly selected level III Nursing students in San Juan de Dios Educational Foundation
Inc.
The study was conducted at SJDEFI College located at 2772- 2774 Roxas Boulevard, Pasay
City.

A descriptive – correlational design was used in the study in order to determine

The researchers used Questionnaire to determine their birth order in the family. Frequency and
distribution were used to analyze the gathered data.

The study resulted in the following findings: Among the ____ respondents, none (0%) of the
respondents got an excellent level of clinical performance. Only___ (__ %) got a very good level
of clinical performance, __ (__ %) got a level of good clinical performance, and almost all of the
respondents which consisted ___(__%) got a fair level of clinical performance.

The data relating the Correlation of Birth Order to Academic Performance of Level III Nursing
Students showed no relationship with each other.
