What is one-to-one
Advocacy?
Advocacy is about
supporting you to work
towards outcomes that
you choose.
Your advocate will listen
to you, and help you
identify what things you
want to happen.
This will help you both
to create a plan which
you will work towards

Support Cambs
Support is provided
by our Caseworkers
to enable people who
are deaf to remain
independent.
Issues they support
with include benefits,
bills, correspondence,
applying for jobs,
housing issues, support
to refer for equipment,
health issues, accessing
services, financial issues,
sign posting, emotional
support and more.
Support is provided at
drop -ins, open support
sessions, home visits
and in some cases at
your meetings.

you to an Advocate or
Caseworker if necessary.
We also have a small
team of Befrienders who
are able to visit isolated
