of Toronto. As our name suggests, we are Professional, Responsible, Innovative and Skilled Millennials and
together with our prowess in engineering we envision a bright future for the communities in the highly
modernized Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
VISION STATEMENT
Prism Solutions strives to improve communities through innovation in engineering by providing safe,
reliable, and humanitarian solutions. We are a dedicated team that integrates engineering knowledge and
community involvement in order to arrive at holistic solutions to any problem. Our commitment, enthusiasm,
and determination ensure our solutions do not disappoint.
FUNDAMENTAL VALUES
We, as engineers, hope to provide our community members with safe, accessible, and reliable solutions to
their issues. Due to our backgrounds in humanitarian and community work, we believe that the most
important and effective solutions are those that steadily support a group and, to this end, we hope to bring
our skills together and accomplish this. We will be making efforts to connect to different communities to
learn about their history and nuances so that our designs securely fit the needs of any group. Extra efforts can
and will be made to ensure that when we leave, any design we have supplied or solution we have suggested
will not only be long-lasting but also fully accessible for our peers.

EXPERIENCE
I believe it was William Fulbright who said that international education
is our best opportunity to turn ideologies into human aspiration. With
this being said, the diversity of my experiences that not only
encompasses education in Edmonton, Alberta, Toronto, Ontario and
various provinces in the Philippines; but also my volunteer work with
both the Philippine and Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Blood Services,
Habitat for Humanity and several leisure and recreation facilities in the
City of Edmonton as well as my work experience in retail and
administrative assistance has always been a defining characteristic that
has pushed me to go beyond expectations, which has been conducive to
success.

EXPERIENCE
DESIGNER SAAMLI IMPORTS INC. JUNE 2015-SEPTEMBER 2016
I designed the company website and the product boxes. I also obtained
experience talking to customers. This has given me many opportunities to
obtain skills in management, leadership, and customer service that I can
apply to help the community.
I also have experience in helping grass root communities as I participated
in the Youth Philanthropy Imitative and I have volunteered numerous
times for organizations in my hometown.

EXPERIENCE
Experiences have profoundly shaped my identity. Participating in
structural design competitions in high school and university has helped
me develop invaluable individual and team skills. Frequent involvement
in community service projects and acting as a notetaker for disabled
students at U of T demonstrate my commitment towards contributing
back to communities. Previous work experience tested my ability to
work under pressure with others to serve customers and manage
merchandise. Much of my experience involves analysis, organization,
and working for the common good. As such, they will allow me to grow
and develop as a confident student engineer.

EXPERIENCE
I have many years of experience working in community theatre, both on
and off the stage. My offstage endeavors have allowed me to build my
coordination and organization skills, as my fellow production team and
I must make sure every detail is accounted for in the final show. I am
involved with the student-run aerospace team at U of T (UTAT) in the
Rocketry Payload division. Currently, our team is working on a CubeSatform payload designed to analyze the flight of our rocket and collect data
which will be used to support decisions in later iterations of our rockets.
