Safety Precautions

wireless device.
Do not switch on your device when the device use is prohibited or
when the device use may cause interference or danger.
Follow the rules or regulations in hospitals and health care facilities.
Switch off your device near medical apparatus.

interference to control signals of the aircraft.
Switch off your device near high-precision electronic devices. The
device may affect the performance of these devices.
Do not attempt to disassemble your device or its accessories. Only
qualified personnel are allowed to service or repair the device.
Do not place your device or its accessories in containers with strong
electromagnetic field.
Do not place magnetic storage media near your device. Radiation
from the device may erase the information stored on them.
Do not put your device in a high-temperature place or use it in a
place with flammable gas such as a gas station.
Keep your device and its accessories away from children. Do not
allow children to use your device without guidance.
Use only the original power supply.
Observe the laws or regulations on device use. Respect others
privacy and legal rights when using your device.

1. Overview
The device provides a simple way to use 3G connect to the Internet with any
Wi-Fi-enabled device and to fulfill needs of sharing your internet connection during
outside home.

1.1 Introduction
Indicator Description

The device is equipped with four LED status indicators including:

Green: the battery is charging slow flash.
Long yellow light: 20%, to remind the user charge

3. Power

Long red light: 5% cell ultra low voltage, can

automatically shut down.
Unlit: dormancy, shutdown.
Long green light: new SMS or SMS is full

4. SMS

Unlit: hibernate, shutdown.

Button Description

1. Power

Power on/off the power when press and hold the power button for over 3
seconds.

2. Wi-Fi/WPS
Turn on/off Wi-Fi or WPS.

Wi-Fi: enable/disable Wi-Fi when press and hold the Wi-Fi button within 3
seconds.

Short press (2 seconds) can activate WPS.

3. Reset

Reset the device to factory default when press and hold the reset button for over
2 seconds.

1. SIM Slot

A SIM can be inserted for connecting to the network.

2. Micro USB Connector

A terminal device can be connected via USB cable.

3. Micro SD Slot

A MicroSD card (maximum 16G supported) can be inserted for file transfer or storage.

Please do as the following to insert them.

Note:
Please turn on the equipment before installation of the equipment.
Please do not disconnect the device during installation.
In the installation of driver, please turn off the firewall and antivirus software.

2. Equipment installation
2.1 Connect the Device
Before you want to use the device, setup your device as following:
1. Insert SIM;
2. Insert Micro SD Card;
3. Insert the battery;
4. Hold the Power button to power on;
5. The router uses the USB line is connected to your computer.
The mobile terminal device you can connect to the wireless router through two ways:

Via USB: If your terminal device (such as laptop) is Wi-Fi disabled, you can
connect them via USB cable. After connected in the first time, driver will be
installed automatically.

Via Wi-Fi: It is better for you to connect the device to Wi-Fi-enabled devices
through Wi-Fi, for which you dont need to install any driver.

Note:
Please do not disconnect the device is in the process of installation.
If automatic installation failed, please check whether the antivirus and security
software is working. If it is, close it and reinstall.

2.2 Startup

Power on the device

When all the lines installed, long press the power button to open the equipment.

Restart the device

Some configurations may take effect after system reboot.

Power off the device

Long press the power button to turn off the equipment.

3. Description for Client Interface

3.1 Activate Client
1. Once connection to the Smart Bro Device was established, open your web browser
and type in http://www.smartbrosettings.net
2. In the login page, the default username is smartbro and the default password is
smartbro. Take note that username and password are case sensitive.

1. If you cant see the client interface, please refresh the page.
2. If you use USB cable to connect device, please open browser and type in
"http://www.smartbrosettings.net".

3.2 Interface Introduction

Click on the 'Home' page ' Connect ' button to connect the network. The client default is
automatic networking.

3.3 software function

The basic function of the client:

Home: Display Internet, LAN, WiFi.

Wizard: Fast WAN and WiFi Settings.

WAN: Respectively is Connection, Configuration, Internet, SMS, Phonebook,

SIM, PLMN, Traffic.

Network: Respectively is LAN, DHCP, NAT, UPnP.

WiFi: Respectively is WiFi Basic, WiFi AP, WPS, MAC Filter, Station List.

Security: Firewall.

System: Respectively is Configuration, Firmware Upgrade, Power Saving,

Password, Language, System Log, Reboot.

3.4 Icons defined:

4. Function introduction
4.1 Wizard

Step 1 WAN Settings

Network configuration. The current network to 2/3G network, the user can choose
corresponding network below the APN list, click 'set' choice of the network, and
then click 'next'.

Step 2 WiFi Settings

Setting the device SSID, the default SSID is: Smartbro_****** (******means the
last 6 bits of MAC address)
Click 'Done' to complete the setup wizard.
Note: After the completion of setting the system will reboot, page reload.

4.2 WAN

Connection

Connection Operation

Users can change the network connection mode, the network connection mode is
divided into: 'Auto Mode' 'Manual Mode', default 'Auto Mode'.
The user to change the 'Manual Mode', click on the 'Change' disconnected. Re
below the APN list to select the desired network connection.

Configuration

IPv4 WAN

The user can select the connection Configuration type, and set DNS.

Internet

Settings

The user can select a desired network type: 3G or 2G, 2G only, 3G only, and can
choose the 'ON' or 'OFF' roaming function. The revised after clicking the
'Change'.

SMS
This function is used SMS device management.

(U) SIM

(U) SIM card 'Inbox' 'Outbox 'storage content.

The user can click on the interface icon button New SMS, delete, Forward, send
and other related functions.

Setting

SMS center number settings, select Settings.

The device is able to automatically identify SMS center number from the (U) SIM
card you used. You can also manually change this setting. Please contact with
your service provider or network operator for detail of SMS center number.

Phone book
This function is used to manage devices in Phonebook information.

(U) SIM:

Display Phonebook information stored in (U) SIM card. Users can add, edit,
delete, search and other functions by click icon buttons on configuration page.
Note: User to delete the Phonebook information will not be restored, please
exercise caution.

SIM

SIM card lock / unlock configuration

The user can enter the PIN code, and the Enabled Pin or Disable Pin function.

PLMN

Internet

The user can be divided into 'Automatic' 'Manual' ' Manual failed then Automatic'
three kinds of mode, select the required network operators.

Traffic
The display device network related information, click on the 'Restart Counter' to
update the data.

4.3 Network

The user can change the IP Address and IP subnet mask, after modification
click 'Apply' complete change.

DNS Device Name

The user can change the DNS Device Name, after modification click 'Apply'
complete change.

DHCP

DHCP Server

The user can change the 'DHCP mode', 'Starting IP',' End IP', 'Lease Time' set
the content, after modification click 'Apply' complete change.

DNS Server

The user can change the ' First DNS Server ', ' Second DNS Server ',' Third DNS
Server ' set the content, after modification click 'Apply' complete change.

NTP Server

The user can change the ' First NTP Server ', ' Second NTP Server ',' Third NTP
Server ' set the content, after modification click 'Apply' complete change.

Static DHCP

Set the content the user can add a static DHCP, after modification click 'Apply'
complete change.

Leased Hosts

Display the Leased Hosts list, the user can use the 'Refresh' function.

NAT

Port Forward

The user can add content setting port forwarding, after modification click 'Apply'
complete change.

Port Trigger

The user can add content setting port trigger, after modification click 'Apply'
complete change.

DMZ

The user can select the enable DMZ, and update the DMZ host, after modification
click 'Apply' complete change.

ALG

The user can select the Enable FTP ALG, Enable H.323 ALG, Enable IPsec ALG,
Enable L2TP ALG, Enable PPTP ALG, Enable RTSP ALG, Enable SIP ALG, and
update the SIP Port, after modification click 'Apply' complete change.

UPnP

Setting

The user can select the Enable IGD and Enabled NAT-PMP., after modification
click 'Apply' complete change.

4.4 WiFi

WiFi Basic
The user can select the 'on' or 'off' WiFi Switch.

WiFi AP
The user can modify the functions of Mode, Region Domain, Channel, 802.11N
Channel Width, Beacon Interval (20 ~ 1024), DTIM Period (1 ~ 255), SSID, Max
Number of Users, Hide SSID, Encryption Type, WPA Mode, Cipher Type,
Pre-shared Key, after modification click 'Apply' complete change.

WPS
The user can modify the WPS functions of Enable, Configure State, Configure
Method, Current State, after modification click 'Apply' complete change.

MAC Filter
The user can set Enable MAC Address Filter. In the tick 'enable MAC address
filter' can be set MAC address filtering related content, after modification click
'Apply' complete change.

Station List
Display WiFi network host list.

4.5 Security

Firewall

The user can set the IP address filtering, after modification click 'Apply' complete
change.

Content Filter

The user can set the content filtering, after modification click 'Apply' complete

Note: the user to fill in the content filtering content, need URL network address
input complete.

4.6 System

Configuration

Backup

The user can click on the 'backup' backup current configuration.

Restore

The user can select a local backup configuration file, click the "restore" before the
resumption of configuration.

Reset to Default

The user can click the 'reset' restore to factory default settings.

Firmware upgrade
The user can select the upgrade file, click the 'Update' before the resumption of
configuration.

Power Saving
The user can select the Enable Auto Power Saving, Enable Hibernate Mode
(seconds), Auto Power Off (seconds), after modification click 'Apply' complete
change.

Password
The user can select the device specific account, modify the login password, after
modification click 'Apply' complete change.

Language
The user can modify the client language, after modification click 'Apply' complete
change.

System Log

Log Setting

The user can select the Enable Log, Enable Log Level, Enable Remote Log,
Remote Log Host, Remote Log Port, after modification click 'Apply' complete
change.

Log Display

Display the system log, the user can use the 'Refresh' 'Clear log function, and set
the' Display log level'.

Reboot
The user clicks on the 'Reboot' will reboot the device.

5. Warning and Precautions

Please do not prohibit the use of the device or use may cause interference or
danger occasions boot.

Please abide by the Code of hospitals and health care facilities. Please turn off
near medical equipment.

Interfere with the aircraft control system to prevent wireless devices, turn the
device off at the airport.

All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect the
use of performance.

Near high-precision electronic instrument, turn off the wireless devices. It may
affect the performance of these devices (such as: the embedded medical
equipment).

Do not place magnetic storage media such as magnetic cards and floppy disks
placed near wireless devices. The radiation emitted by the wireless device may
erase the information.

Do not attempt to disassemble the router and its accessories. The professionals
only able to provide service and repair for the device.

Do not use your wireless device in potentially explosive space.

Do not use your device at high temperatures or flammable gas spaces (such as:
gas stations).

Allows the use of only approved power supply equipment manufacturers, in order
to avoid damage to the equipment or explosion.

Do not place your device on flammable liquids, gases or explosive objects

nearby.

Do not store the device in high temperature environments, and will shorten the life
of electronic devices, damage the battery or melted accessories.

Do not store the device at low temperatures, when the device back to normal
operating temperature, water vapor will enter inside the device, damage the
device circuit board.

Compliance with relevant laws and regulations when using the device. Respect
the privacy and legitimate rights and interests of others.

Do not expose your device in strong sunlight, to avoid the heat.

Keep the device dry, and avoid all types of liquids into the inside of the machine,
so as to avoid damage.

This product is carefully designed and high-tech production, use with caution.

Do not allow children or pets contact equipment may cause choking or damage to
the equipment.

Do not wet hands to operate the equipment, may cause an electric shock.

Do not drop, knock, Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and the use
of performance.

Equipment to work long hours, the signal is weak or at room temperature under
normal fever phenomenon, which does not affect the use of equipment and life.

User minimum distance equipment physical distance should be 20cm.
