Overview
Exportingglobalnodesisusefulwhenyouwanttooutputalistofnodesfromaversionwithoutspecifyinghierarchyinformationforexample,amasterlistofprojects,areportofinactive
customers,oralistofemployeeswhoarenotassignedtoacostcenter.
Forthistypeofexport,configuretheexportwizardtabsasfollows:
SourceSelectanormal,baseline,orasofversion.
StyleIndicatewhethertoexportallnodesoronlylimborleafnodes.Youcanincludeimplicitlysharednodes,ifnecessary.
FilterDefineaqueryorvalidation.Onlynodesthatmeetthequerycriteriaorthatfailthevalidationareexported.
ColumnsSelectproperties,includingversionandglobalproperties,foroutputcolumnsintheexport.Youcanincludeasmanypropertiesasneeded.Forexample,youmaywantto
includeanode'sname,description,andparentnodename.
TargetSpecifywhethertoexportresultstoaclientfile,aserverfile,oradatabasetable.Ifyouexporttoadatabasetable,youmustalsospecifythedatabasetable.
