*******BRICKPAT.

LSP by Peter Landeck all rights reserved 1997*******

WHAT BRICKPAT.LSP DOES: When run, Brickpat.lsp loads a menu file called Brickpat
.mnu, which displays 2 menu choices in the upper right hand of the autocad scree
n; Selecting MENUNDO will exit the user from the Brickpat menu and restore the o
riginal autocad menu in use at the time Brickpat.lsp was loaded. Selecting BRI
CKPAT in the upper right of the autocad screen will open an icon menu in the cen
ter of the screen which displays the 12 brick patterns. Selecting any of the pa
tterns will automatically load the pattern and start the usual autocad HATCH com
mand. The user must input hatch scale and angle, and select the area to be hatc
hed. To return to the original screen Menu the user must then select MENUNDO in
the upper right corner of the Autocad screen.
INSTALLING AND LOADING: To install Brickpat.lsp, unzip the Brickpat.zip file in
one of your autocad directories, such as the ACAD/SUPPORT directory, or make su
re the below listed files are all copied to that directory. These files may be
removed at a later date should you wish to un-install. To load, type (LOAD "BRI
CKPAT") at the autocad command line, including the parentheses and the quotation
marks. The Brickpat menu should then load automatically allowing the user to s
elect a brick pattern from the icon menu.

AUTOLOCK: Brickpat.lsp is limited to 10 demonstration uses afterwhich the lsp r
outine will cease to function. The user must pay a registration fee of $10 in e
xchange for an unlimited use copy of Brickpat.lsp. To register kindly contact P
eter Landeck at the following email address:

TROUBLESHOOTING: If for some reason the user is unable to restore the original
screen menu in place of the Brickpat menu, type MENU at the command prompt, find
the file ACAD.MNU or ACAD.MNX (usually in the ACAD\SUPPORT directory) in the me
nu dialogue box which presents itself, and load it. Your autocad setup may hav
e been customized for another Menu file by the user, or the system manager. In
that case, load this MNU or MNX file instead of the ACAD.MNU file.
