SONA 2015

After 6 years of his term, this is the last State of the Nation Address of
our President Aquino and with those 6 years these was the longest speech delivered by
him, I think it is because of he want to prove something and he want to make the most of
it. President Aquino started his speech by "My bosses, this is the story of our journey
along the Straight Path," With this quotation, I know we are aware of his main goal of
Tuwid na daan in his administration and with his term I know that he did his best to
achieve what he promise to our countrymen.
In President Aquinos speech he tackled about the issues and problems of our
country and how his administration made a huge help to solve it. He highlight the
achievements of his cabinet members, he also include the manufacturing and unemployment
rate which in manufacturing theres a 3% average growth and in unemployment rate it
dropped at 6.8%. He also tackled about the 4Ps, Health and Social Welfare, aviation and
transportation sector, Important Bills and Legislations and many more but President
Aquino missed so many important topics during his last and final SONA, the entire SONA
centered on his administrations accomplishment and giving credits to his partners on his
Daang Matuwid.Some of the important issues that the President failed to mention during
his sixth SONA are the following, the controversial PDAF issue, the Mamasapano
Massacre, the expansion of Chinese territories in the West Philippine Sea and the
Freedom of Information Bill to name a few.
In six years of our president Aquinos term he always said to our people he will
lead us to the straight path but if I will asked about that quote I think I will answered it
by this way. No ones perfect everyone of us have mistakes, We always commit mistakes
even if we dont want to do it , I know president Aquino did his best to make our country
more productive and stop those criminal cases, allegations and political issues which other
administrations didnt. Many of us criticized our president and make allegations to him
that he didnt did the right thing, he is not a good president but if we put his situation to
us we will also have many difficulties and many bashers about what we did, even though in
ourselves we know that we did our best and we tried harder to solve those problems but
why did others didnt see it, why did people didnt appreciate it. It is because we are
always looking at his wrong doings, we didnt look of what he did right and good to our
country. I know in our country poverty is one of the main concern of everyone and our
president tried his best to solve this problem but even though Aquinos administration

tried their best it is not enough, thats why we must think of out of the box. We must not
depend on others, Were the ones who is responsible in making our future, were the ones
who will create our own path and those politicians are only guide in preparing our next step
through our own success.
