Victim Services (Dept. providing support services, including counselling and financial assistance to victims
of crime) project had stalled and failed two times. The project was behaviourally sensitive, and convoluted
on many fronts, the sub-contractor had not followed a delivery based process. The internal team was
stretched and performing BAU and project activities simultaneously. Abhi enforced the delivery process,
lifted engagement and communication across senior stakeholders. Abhi established enhancements and
defects resolutions for applications and systems in production, and reported on their effectiveness to the
fortnightly steering committee.
He further challenged the rigour and vendors understanding of the solution, requested more detailed
planning, design, testing and reporting.
During the course of implementation, the subcontractor requested voluntary administration and
subsequently moved in to insolvency. Abhi provided all assistance to the new sub-contractors team, to
review scope and deliverable and to provide remediation actions to ensure projects success on Microsoft
Dynamics (CRM).

1) Digital Customer Relationship Management
Abhi was responsible for managing the upgrade of digital mobility solution (Digital Customer Relationship
Management) from sword Ciboodle to digital Kana enterprise CRM interfacing with claim systems, like
HUON, Guidewire.
The project had slipped delivery date due to non-clarity of scope and lack of engagement of stake holders.
The internal team was stretched, and not engaged effectively and managed. Abhi defined the scope and
baselined the business requirements for the release. He requested more detailed design reviews,
development and testing, addressed stakeholders expectations, collaborated all teams, vendors and
executed the project successfully on time
Abhi introduced agile practices with focus on progressive elaboration and continuous refinement of product
characteristics through planning & preparation, training and workshops, project chartering, release
planning, agile coaching and retrospectives.
He under took responsibility and accountability for the integration of a secure customer self-service
portal(CRM) to guidewire, GO Claims (Home and motor). The interfaces were enabled to renew policies,
personal details amended, email management/workflow integrated across IPad, Android devices, tablets,
IPhone and smartphones.
In conjunction with the change manager and business Abhi reviewed the strategy, sustainment plan
resulting in increased usage of internal self-service channels and in call volumes by 20%. In collaboration
with business reviewed the deployment strategy and all ancillary support materials for the successful rollout
of a new customer retention dashboard used daily by various channels in business.
2) Virtualisation and implementation of cloud services (Amazon Web Services) (Applications and

Abhi chaired the team of vendors including IBM and Telstra and ensured the project is cut over to web
sense content filtering within agreed time scales before the expiry of licenses on existing systems.

Abhi was engaged to remediate the troubled Mascot data centre server relocation project. The challenge
was to relocate them to the new data centre on the new technical landscape.
Abhi managed the external vendors Telstra, IBM, TCS and tracked the delivery schedule, highlighted risk
and mitigations to IBM and Qantas stake holders. Abhi performed extensive stakeholder management,
steering committee updates third party vendor management, daily stand up meetings, project governance,
ongoing tracking against project plan and detailed defect management and reporting using leading issue

4. Architecture Design Project- Transformation Manager
Abhi initiated the project to perform detailed designs of the specific transition of midrange and storage
projects, and planed for the implementation of these projects. He further liaised with the vendor, IBM Global
