Desi Cow milk project inauguration held on 1 July, 2016

Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal is invited for inauguration of desi cow milk at
held Panchkula, Chandigarh.

Limitation/operational difficulties:There will e difficulty to differentiate between

the Desi Cow /cross breed cow milk at village level. since we are going to give
bonus for the desi cow milk so there will be tendency of the farmers to mix cross
breed milk with desi cow milk to get more Incentives.
There is a possibility that some of suppliers will have both buffalo /cross breed
/desi cow milk :
Step -1: All the producers will be advised to bring desi cow milk and buffalo milk
in separately three containers.
Step-2: milk will be weighted /tested for fat/SNF(SOLID NOT FAT) separately.
Desi cow milk filled separately and buffalo and cross breed cow milk (mixed) will
be filled in other containers at village level.
Step -3: The route vehicle coming to the village will load both containers and
having mixed milk cans in the same vehicle from all the villages on the route and
will deliver the milk on the nearest BMC/MMC.
Step-4: At BMC/MMC/Milk Plant the milk collect from each societies will be
weighted/tested separately for mixed milk and Desi cow milk.
Various kinds of equipments required for weighing, chilling and storing the
milk for Desi cow milk will require to be installed.
Step -5: the Desi cow milk will be transported in insulated road milk tanker to
respective milk plants from various BMCs/MMCs by making separate routes.
Presently we have road milk tanker only for transport them separately more
numbers of road milk tankers will be required , keeping in view the availability of
Desi cow milk on a particular route.

Step-6: Desi cow milk and mixed milk will be received, tested, chilled, and stored
separately. Presently milk plant has arrangement only to received, chill; store any
one type of milk.
Step-7: All the cow milk received at different milk plants will be transported at one
milk plant i.e. Kurukshetra plant in insulated road milk tanker for futher
Processing, Packing and marketing etc.
Step-8: Kurukshetra milk Plant can handle only one type of milk so all the Desi
cow milk of all milk Plants will be processed at this Plant.
Step-9:All the Desi cow milk will be packed at Milk Plant Kurukshetra and will be
distributed back to all other plants from where the DESI COW MILK has been
received.
Step-10: Milk Union Kurukshetra will get other type of milk i.e.

Full-cream milk
Standard milk
Toned milk
Double toned milk
Processed from Milk Plant Ambala/Jind as per availability, facilities etc.

CHAPTER 4
SWOT-ANALYSIS,
SUGGESTIONS
&
CONCLUSION

SWOT Analysis for The Kurukshetra-Karnal Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd. at
Kurukshetra.
The study of this SWOT analysis shows that the strengths and opportunities far outweigh
weaknesses and threats. The strengths and opportunities are fundamental and weaknesses and
threats are transitory.
Strength:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Milk Union have a established known brand of Vita.

Milk Union have Modern Machinery & Milk Testing Equipment.
Margins: Quite reasonable, even on packed liquid milk.
Flexibility of Product Mix.
Availability of raw material: Source for Raw Material (Raw Milk) is from Our Milk
Producers directly .

Weakness:
1. Milk & Milk Products are Perishable commodity it is difficult to handle such
Products in the Market to overcome this weakness we Pasteurize the milk &
maintain cold chain to enhance its keeping quality.
2. Logistics of procurement: Woes of bad roads and inadequate transportation facility
make milk procurement problematic. But with the overall economic improvement in
India, these problems would also get solved. By establishing Bulk Milk Cooler at Village
level we had over come to maintain good quality of the raw Milk.
3. Problematic distribution: Yes, all is not well with distribution. Moreover, it is only a
matter of time before we see the emergence of a cold chain linking the producer to the
refrigerator at the consumers home. So that our all packed Milk & Milk Products will be
deliver to each nook & corner of the operational area of Milk Union.
4. There is shortage of Technical as well other manpower is inadequate. We can
overcome this weakness by engaging staff on Contractual basis till regular staff is
inducted in The Milk Union.
Opportunity:
"Failure is never final, and success never ending. Dr Kurien bears out this statement perfectly.
He entered the industry when there were only threats. He met failure head-on, and now he clearly
is an example of never ending success:
1. Value addition: There is a phenomenal scope for innovations in product development,
packaging and presentation. Value addition Products such as Dahi, Lassi, Paneer, Sweets
& Ice Cream etc.
1. To provide knowledge through online and offline media.

2. Existing Customers and Partners as Brand Ambassador.

Threats:
3. Milk vendors, the un-organized sector: Today milk vendors are occupying the pride of
place in the industry. Organized dissemination of information about the harm that they
are doing to producers and consumers should see a steady decline in their importance.
4. Competition: With so many newcomers entering this industry, competition is becoming
tougher day by day. But then competition has to be faced as a ground reality. The market
is large enough for many to carve out their niche.
The study of this SWOT analysis shows that the strengths and opportunities far outweigh
weaknesses and threats. Strengths and opportunities are fundamental and weaknesses and
threats are transitory. Any investment idea can do well only when you have three essential
ingredients: entrepreneurship (the ability to take risks), innovative approach (in product lines and
marketing) and values (of quality/ethics).

CONCULSION: There is a continuous development in the HR Services sector and

continuously increase in the competition as there are large number of players in the HR
Services Sector

People strong is not a very big organization or very old organization as it established and
having 4 corporate offices in Karnal (NDR), Bombay ,Kolkata , Bangalore.

Vita also has many strength, weakness, opportunities and threats like help in reducing the
cost, improving quality of products & work etc.

I was a trainee in Human Resource & finance of the organization

CHAPTER 5

LEARNING FROM THE TRAINING

Through this training I learnt many things which will help me in future. Firstly, I want to
tell that I worked under the Team Leader Versha and my learning is:
Be Polite and how to interact with the customers.

Got knowledge about the HR Sector.
And also learned that how to convince the people for meetings.
Team work is learnt through this project
This is my first experience in corporate sector during this training in HR Services in
Kurukshetra. This experience was beneficial for me in many ways like team work,
computer skills, how to work in corporate sector. Through this project I came to know the
importance of the Customer for the company and for the company CUSTOMER IS
GOD. In todays scenario HR technology plays a most important role and regular
innovation in the HR Technology.
