Account determination_Assign GL account

This question is Not Answered.
Hi Everyone,
Need your help with regards the Accoutn determination.
i have created new Account determination table which have the following fields.
Sales org,Condition Type and Country (im trying to check if this will pick up the country of the delivering
plant)
Access sequence for the new table - done
Assign account determination procedure - done
Define and assign account keys - done
Assign Gl account done - done
Basically, it all completed.
However when i did the testing, the GL account that i maintained was not able pull in the accounting
document,
so im in doubt if i have missed some configuration to be able to use the GL account that i assigned.

Hi Aj,
Take in account suggestions from SAP Note 146879 - G/L account missing when billing doc released.
For doing the analysis, go to VF03

Hi Friend,
Kindly check the Correct table for the same.
Check the customer master detail what you had maintained.
Check the Material Master Account detail you had maintained.
Check the account key what you had maintained in the pricing procedure.
Check that you had maintained in both the valuation KOFI & KOFK.
Also check the if you had maintained the new account key then it should first assinged and maintained
the G/L for the same.

Hello Aj,
As per me while creating a access sequence you have to consider "account key" as one of the field but
you have taken only "Sales org,Condition Type and Country ".
Please add account key in table and do the account determination..It will work.

Check once again required configuration and goto VF02 and do the account determination analysis as
mentioned above by "Eduardo", then you can come to know the exact reason.
Still if you have some clarity in account determination please once again verify the below link of config.

Aj,
Any of the fields in the condition table were not in the field catalog (acc determination)?
If you add a field to the catalog and then make use of it in an acc determination condition table, then
some code has to be written to get that value of the account determination structures.
If the fields in the table were Sales org,Condition Type and Country
then why did you create new account keys?
And where did you assign those?

Hi,
I didt check the account deternination analysis.
The Condition type was not in the list of condition. so im not sure why it didnt able to apprear.
Maybe i missed something.
HI TW, the Country was add in the allowed fileds.
sorry for the confusion, no configuration in the account keys.

1. Paste the screenshot of the revenue account analysis.
2.

Can you please confirm as if all the fields have been determined correctly from start to end node. Also,
if you don't mind please share the screenshots of Revenue Account Determination Analysis in VF03.

The new condition type was ZVML..
as you can see, it didn't recognized the ZVML.

Aj,
Please note - ZSDS, ZMLP etc. etc. are all pricing condition types (not account
determination condition type)
I am assuming that ZVML is your account determination condition type. Please
confirm.
In the billing document, there are values for pricing condition types ZSDS, ZMLP, ZMCI etc.
etc.
These values have to be posted in some G/L accounts, with the help of Account
determination. The details of account determination can be seen in the analysis.
Click on ZSDS, then you can see the account determination overview.
This shall have text like "G/L account 6211100940 determined from Account determination
type ZVML" etc.
So click on ZSDS and paste that screenshot here.

Hi TW,
i have new pricing condition of ZVML, which have an amount.
Heres the assign to GL account.

Heres the analysis screen for the ZSDS

Account deermination type is ZD01.

Access sequest is 80 for the sales org/condition type/country

Side comment - When adequate information is provided, at the initial stage; the
analysing part can start immediately.

Pricing condition type ZVML is not populating in Account

determination analysis

1. In your billing document, header level, Tab Conditions, do you see condition type
ZVML and does it have a value?
Please paste the screenshot.
2. If this condition type does not have any value (or it is statistical) , then it shall not
feature in Account determination analysis.

Yes, ZVML has a value in header level.

Thanks for the screenshot!
Is ZVML a tax condition type? (V/06, Condition class = D, Taxes)
If it is a tax condition type, then it would not feature in the Account
determination analysis.

The condition type is Sales tax/with license-checking (VAT)

First in Item Data - Condition Tab.

select JIVP or JSSC.
To do that double click on the condition type &
take note of Tax code & Account Key.
Say, tax code is A1 & Account key is MW1
Then use Tcode OB40.
Check MW1 transaction.
Account determination for the noted Tax code
should be there.
Say,
A1 16614211
Further, check GL acc 16614211, whether check
whether in G/L account tax category is maintain
as ">" - Output Tax Account or " * " - All tax types
allowed under control data tab.

code.

Sorry for delayed response. Apart from other valuable

member's suggestion, please check out few things.
1. Account Determination in OB40 for the particular
transaction key.
2. In FTXP, confirm the assignment of G/L account for your
particular Tax code.
3. Cross verify the required combinations in VKOA.
In my opinion Tax code is the main important thing just
maintain it in VK11 for your specific Condition Type, check
rest of the assignments and it will be okay. Thanks.

Where is Account Key for ZVML Condition type in assignment of VKOA ? (in above
assignment )
What is the purpose of ZVML condition type to assign in VKOA without account key
?
Why you have assigned G/L account to ZVML condition type ? without accontkey
,how will you post to G/L account ?
TW,
