It is like the world of fashion is coming to a turning

point or even becoming rebellous. The rebellion is
against things that are predictable, neat and beautiful.
This has made space for fresh labels like Vetements and
the new concept from Balenciaga where all profiles are
exaggerated.
Well established fashion houses, which are known for
their classy elegance, answer this call by overhauling
their business, substistuting their head designers in
purpose of rebranding. The big names in fashion
industry are strolling from one fashion house to another
as they have rarely done before.
We celeabrate these changes as finally, there is fun in the
industry after a long period of recession. The colours,
fabrics and profiles are powerful again. There is more
space to be different, both in looks and dresses. Pair a
down-coat with your spangled dress and even shave
off your hair. Try being pink from top to toe. Just do
whatever you want!
The fashion houses are also changing the way we think
of the seasons, the fall and spring collections. Because
of the social media, for instance, this system is outdated
as very few bother waiting for six months to buy clothes
they saw on the catwalk yesterday. Several designers
have already started this development, launching their
collections as soon as their fashion show ends. It will
be exciting to see what happens in the near future. This
time we however bring you a trend bible for the fall with
traditional setup but exciting trends!

This spring we went to Milan fashion
week and got to follow the MAC make
up team back stage on ten large shows,
including Missoni, Marni and Sportmax.
Our first show was N21 where the looks
were cool and glamorous. It was inspired
by Glam Rock and the outcome was a mix
of Ziggy Stardust and Rod Stewart.

Tom Pecheux did the make-up
for N21. Pecheux is one of the big
names in the industry. He has done
make-up for all the large magazines
and supervised numerous fashion
shows for example Chanel and
Yves Saint Laurent. Additionally,
he was an artistic director for
Este Lauder. It was a true honor
watching him at work.

GET THE LOOK

Bring on the Glitter! The look isnt
complicated becuase it doesnt need
to be perfect. The skin is natural
and unshaded, the T-area and the
chin should be powdered and the
cheek bones highlighted. The main
emphasis is on the eyes which are
drawn with a subtle, angled brush
Blacktrack liner. Next you put
glitter on the eyelids and eye hooks
and finally three layers of mascara
on upper and lower lashes.

Lip Erase Lip balm

As the week went by we
became more aware of this
product, it was a key element
in numerous shows. Lip erase,
like the name indicates, works
like an eraser, which covers
the natural colour of the lips
and is therefore the perfect
base for lipsticks, glosses or
even to use just by itself.
You apply it like a concealer.
In N21 show they put the
Blonde Mink lipstick, from
the new fall colour pallette,
over the balm.

The simple look created by Diane Kendal
for Emilio Pucci for this fall is a lot more
simple than it looks. Almond shaped
graphic liner, on inner and outer rims,
the liner only reaching the middle of the
upper lid. Slight shading on the eyelids for
more depth, and a subtle highlight on the
cheekbones and nose. Brows groomed
and forget about mascara.

dark lip trend. It changes up every year,
but the secret is not always in the shade or
texture - its the way its combined. Pairing
a dark prune lip with pale and matte skin
would have given a different vibe than the
fresh glowy texture seen at Marni.
Fresh, young and sophisticated are the
words to be applied to this look.
