YourAnalysis
Was there a variety of assessment methods used by the teacher? How
relevant was/were the assessment methods used?
Yes, there is variety of assessment methods used by the teacher. All of the assessment
methods used was relevant but I think he should explore more. As we have
observed, there is no authentic type of assessment being use which is much
enjoyable and should corresponds to students needs.
Do you think the expected students learning behaviours indicated in the
objectives were properly and appropriately assessed through those assessment methods?
Yes, the expected students learning behaviours indicated in the objectives were
properly assessed through those assessment methods. Based on students answers
during recitation and on their seatworks. Theyve got a high score.

YourReflections

Write your personal reflection of thoughts and feelings about the

importance in the use of appropriate assessment methods in the classroom, including
what students and teachers can gain from appropriate assessment tools. Share your
reflection with your FS teacher and classmates.
As a future Math Educator, the use of appropriate assessment methods in the
classroom is really important and should always take into consideration. The
assessment methods always correspond to assessment tools. As a real teacher, we are
not only after their scores. We are focusing on our students if they really learn. At
the same time, we should also assess ourselves if how effective are we as a source of
learning.

subject observed.
Step 2: Study the teachers objectives of the
lesson. Observe his/her class, focusing on the
evaluation part of the lesson.
Step 1: Visit a class on a subject area of your choice.

As you visit schools, study the teachers objectives, formulate test items, and
interpret results, make a clear documentation of your tasks using the activity forms
provided for you in this book. For your paper-and-pen test items, customize a table of
specification, and prepare the test material based on the prescriptions of the school where
you do class observation.

YourReflections
Write your personal reflection of thoughts and feelings regarding the Peace
Concept on Focus. Share your reflection with your FS teacher and classmates.

Being a teacher is a demanding job. You sometimes cant contain how the
students behave. But as teacher, you should always be fair and square. You
should treat your students equally without having the concept of
favouritism. You should also understand the different levels of capability of
your students since they are all unique individuals. The assessment should be
base on their levels of capability.
