resources that facilitate teaching and learning processes.

It will be an interesting journey to the world of educational technology. A chance
to visit and observe a learning resource center of a school will start you off.
For this process, explore the world through these steps:
Step 4: Write down a brief reflection of
your experience.
Step 3: Make an inventory of its available
resources and classify them according to their
characteristics and functions.
Step 2: Ask the learning resource center in-charge
about how some equipment or facilities are used.
Step 1: Visit a schools learning resource center. Look
around and see what resources and facilities are available

teacher to use. Theres no print resource or anything in their classroom.

Your Analysis

Were the Learning resources/materials arranged properly according to their functions and
characteristics?

They are lack of learning resources/materials used by the teacher. Most of the time
they used the traditional way of teaching which is chalk and board.

Do the guidelines and procedures facilitate easy access to the materials by the teachers?
Why? or Why not?

No, because the learning resources/materials used b the teacher is not enough for
them to facilitate easy the 40+ stusents in every classroom.

What are the strengths of this Learning Resource Center?

I thinks theres no strength in this learning resource because they have no


materials in teaching. They only use the module from the DepEd.

What are its weaknesses?

The weakness is sometimes the learners are bored and they are not focused to the
teacher who discuss in front because this teacher is using the traditional way of teaching.

What suggestions can you make?

Use technology in teaching so that the attention of the learners is in the teacher or
in the lesson that the teacher will present. And maybe most of the learners will be interested in
their subject because they are excited in every activity in your PowerPoint or any used by
technology.

None, because theres no learning resource used by the teacher.
2. Which gadgets/materials are you already confident to use/operate?
None, because I havent seen any gadgets that our resource teacher had used.
3. Which one do your feel need to learn more about?
I think I need to learn how to make interactive powerpoint since teachnology is
what in right now and we are in the 21st century.
