Some facets of MANGAL DOSHA

There is different of opinion whether Mangal Dosha starts from 1st House of Second
House or Both. We feel both Houses should be taken into account as Mars is the
same in North and South India. Your views are welcome. Some aspects with
reference to one (Rising Ascendant (Lagna) Sagittarius is given here with reference
to Mars in 2nd House.

Rising Sign- Sagittarius (Dhanu) - Mars in the 2nd house- Capricorn

(Makara)

Mars is exalted here and also being Dhanu's lord Jupiter's friend will cause little
dosha. The native will spoil his name due to tactless speech or speech will be
affected (un-thoughtful utterance). There will be tension in the job front or service
matters.

Remedial Measure: Every Saturday worship Lord Hanuman. Offer flower mala on
your birth star (Birth Nakshatra) every month. Wear a red coral in the ring finger.

Also Observe strict morals and ethics and keep fast on Tuesdays.

Mars in the 4th House Pisces (Meena)

Mars in Jupiter's house causes very little dosha. Yet there will be tensions in family
life and there is possibility of accidents due to vehicles.

Remedial Measures: Offer sincere prayers to Lord Dakshinamoorthy every

Thursday. Observe fast on Thursdays and offer alms to 4 Brahmins.

Mars in the 7th/8th house (Mithuna/Karkata) Gemini/Cancer

Mars in an inimical sign may give delayed marriage to the one he loves or the
marriage begins in love but sours in due course due to incompatibility on various
issues. Nonetheless, the marriage brings success to both partners too. Cancer
(Kataka) is the house of debilitation for Mars and though Mars is said to cause
Mangal dosha, this position is not all desirable. Mars here will affect longevity and
health. But this position of Mars may give much wealth too.

Remedial Measures: The Partner should wear a red coral in ring finger. Fast on
Wednesdays and offer prayers to Lord Balaji of Tirupati. Give offerings to Him
regularly. Keep some amount set aside for remedial measures. Perform abhishek to
Lord Shiva.

Mars in the 12th HOUSE (Vrischika) Scorpio

Here Mars will do little harm as he is the lord of Vrischika own sign. Yet this will
cause family tensions and squabbles, There will be enemies and eye troubles too.
However this position helps one to advance in yogic practices.

Remedial Measures: Wearing a white coral and use of red cloth is beneficial. Recite
the Mantra "Om Hreem Kreem Hreem Subramanya Namaha" 1008 times daily and
fasting on Tuesdays.
