COVER LETTER
Dear Ms. Grant,
I read the advertisement for the Controller position available and I am submitting my resume for
consideration. I know that you company is a top multinational company in the field of fast moving consumer
goods, a marker leader with well-known international brands. As I noticed you are now expanding the activity
and are now looking for a top specialists to work with your Romanian team.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information
Technology from the University of Economic Studies, Bucharest. I also possess significant experience with
conducting annual corporate audits. I have five years of experience in a similar role as an Assistant Controller at
Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
In my previous position I supervise all accounting practices. I prepare ledger reconciliations and supervise
the preparation of monthly journal entries. I assist the Controller with preparation of fiscal-year end audits and
reports and ensure internal controls compliance by all staff and departments. I participate at the development of
the monthly and quarterly reporting and evaluations and in the budgeting and forecasting company plan.
I also took part in the cost price calculations.
My extensive knowledge skills and education should make me a top candidate for your position. I am
highly analytical, have an excellent attention to detail and comprehensive communications abilities. I consider
