Summary

It is being set in India, exactly in Mohali, the time is 2011 and a great even is
about to take place: a Cricket match between India vs Pakistan. Me and the
public feel emotional, excited and overall feeling nationalist. So in conclusion its
about the Cricket match, and its ending is set as the climax of the story.

Writing
At first I want to clarify that Im not a big fan of Cricket. I like it because its part
of my country and one of its most played game though not the national one.
That being said when the 2nd semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 was
played between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan at Punjab Cricket Association
Stadium, Mohali on 30 March 2011, I knew I had to go and watch it in person.
I insisted to my family to buy some tickets for the match. At first they werent
sure but they ended up buying one for me and another one for my big brother
along with some plane tickets to go to Mohali. As soon as we entered Mohali we
couldnt stop noticing the high and joyful climate of the city. It was filled with
some big and small Indian flags and other things related to the country and
Cricket. It was the type of moment in which one feels nationalist.
The stadium was also filled with the same environment and nationalism with
people supporting their favourite teams and looking forward for a nice match
worthy of being talked about for the next decade. Though India won the match
by 29 runs and qualified for the 2011 Cricket World Cup Final, I was satisfied of
visiting the place since it was the first time I visited a Cricket or any big sports
event.
