ALZHEIMER'S FOUNDATION OF AMERICA TEENS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY CONTEST!

Criteria:
This scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for college-bound students to give thoughtful consideration to the impact
Alzheimers disease has on their own lives and others in their family and community. Students are required to submit an
autobiography and write a 1,200 to 1,500 word essay that answers the following questions:

Criteria:

Career & Technical (CTE) Scholarships and Tuition Awards


Eligibility:

Criteria:
The CTE Scholarships and Tuition Awards are for outstanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) students. The awards
cover up to one year of tuition only (no other expenses) for those students who have excelled in their CTE areas. Eligible
candidates are those who are (1) planning on attending a postsecondary institution in a CTE program that is a two-year
Associate Degree program or less (preceding immediate employment in that area) or (2) those who are planning to teach in a

PMI Utah Northern Chapter Scholarship for High School Students

Criteria:
PMI is the international non-profit association for advancing the profession of project management. The PMI Utah Northern
Chapter is providing a $2,000 award to an outstanding Utah student who demonstrates an interest in projects. A $1,000 award
and a $500 award will be given to second and third place winners respectively. To be considered as a finalist, create and upload
a less than 5 minute YouTube video telling a story about any project you have been involved with. Here are some topics that
could be, but are not required to be, covered: your role in the project, the project initiation, the project plan, execution of the

Eligible students are also entered for a chance to win scholarship savings accounts worth up to $1,000. Students should bring
their most recent report card for the 2016-2017 school year and a parent/guardian to any Zions Bank Financial Center. For every
A, theyll get $1 deposited into a Student Savings Account. If they dont have an account or arent a Zions Bank client, theyll
still be rewarded .50 cents per A. Getting paid for an A enter the student for the chance to win a scholarship savings account

BHW Women in STEM Academic Scholarship

The BHW Group is a custom web and mobile app development company based in Austin, Texas. Their Women in STEM
scholarship is open to women who are pursuing an undergrad degree in STEM during the 2017 school year. Applicants are

Utah State University: Engineering State 2017 (For JUNIORS only)
Engineering State 2016 will be held on the Utah State University campus June 5-8. All high school JUNIORS who are university bounds, with a high
interest in math and science, and interested in engineering as a possible field of study, should apply for Engineering State. Please note the
application deadline is March 17, 2017. Applicants will be accepted on a first come, first qualified basis. When your application is accepted, there

Utah Boys State (JUNIORS)
Boys State will be held at Weber State University on June 12 16, 2017. This is a week long summer program educating you about your duties,
privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. You will create and run a state of your own and gain a deeper understanding of our nation.
Registration & Administrative Fee required (includes 3 college credits of Political Science 2920). Scholarship opportunities will also be granted

Governors Honors Academy (JUNIORS)
The Academy is organized to provide Utah high school students with an opportunity to learn, lead and interact with some of the foremost leaders in
business, technology, humanities, science, education, communication and social science. The Academy is held at Southern Utah University for 9
days in the summer. Students must have a 3.75 GPA or higher. The cost of the Academy is $1,100 for all expenses. Those participants who attend
the entire Academy will receive 6 college credits and a 4-year full tuition scholarship to Southern Utah University. For additional information and to

University of Utahs 2017 Bioscience High School Summer Research Program (JUNIORS)

The Bioscience Program at the University of Utah seeks to increase the participation of students in biological research and to encourage them to
prepare for careers in research, medicine, and education. To this end the Program sponsors an eight-week Bioscience High School Summer

Regents Scholarship
This scholarship is a great opportunity to become college-ready and earn a scholarship at the same time. To earn the Regents Scholarship, you
must first complete the following required courses during grades 9-12 by the date of high school graduation: 4 years of English, 4 progressive credit
of Mathematics (at minimum, you must complete secondary Math 1, Math 2, Math 3 and one course beyond Math 3), 3.5 credits of Social Science, 3
credits of lab-based Science specifically one each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics and 2 progressive credits of the same World Language (other
than English) during grade 9-12. The three awards within the Regents Scholarship are as follows: Base Award (up to $1,000 one-time payment)
complete the required courses earning a C or higher in each course, a 3.0 cumulative HS GPA, and take the ACT test; Exemplary Academic
Achievement Award (renewable max of $1,250 per semester for up to four semester) Complete the required courses earning a B or higher in
each course, a 3.5 cumulative HS GPA and an ACT score of a 26 or higher; Utah Educational Savings Plan Supplemental Award (one-time max of
$400) Based on saving through a UESP account, to maximize the award save $100 when you are 12, 15, 16, and 17. For full details, read the

application is December 9, 2016. The final deadline for submitting a complete application is February 1, 2017. More specific instructions on how to

QuestBridge National College Match
This program connects outstanding students from low-income backgrounds with admission and full four-year scholarships to the nations best
college scholarship worth over $200,000 each. They are looking for academically talented high school seniors who have faced long-term financial
hardship and who usually: Are in the top 5-10% of their class in the most challenging courses available, come from households earning less than
$60,000 (for a typical family of four) and qualify for their schools free or reduced-price lunch program. For more information and to apply, please visit

Harvard University Tuition Opportunity
Harvard University announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. Harvard University will pay the
tuition of a high school honor student from a family earning less than $60,000 a year. The prestigious university recently announced that from now on
