the number of complaints received. With over 2000 inquiries,
movers were the sixth most inquired about type of business in the
Maritimes.
Start planning ahead several weeks before your targeted moving
date. Here are some quick tips to help you with your move: 1)
Shop around. Get at least three estimates and keep in mind that the
lowest bid may not necessarily be the best service when you
consider insurance, training, experience, quality of vehicle, etc;
2) Get a written contract. Make sure you get a contract that spells
out the specific terms: the dates and times of your move, holding
charges, and over-weight penalties; 3) Ask about insurance. Find
out how much insurance the mover has and what it covers. Ask for
the insurer's name and policy number in case you need extra
insurance to protect your possessions; 4) Make a list and check it.
Make an inventory of the goods to be moved. Personally
supervise or have someone trusted with your inventory list watch
the loading and unloading of the truck; 5) Report loss or damage.
If damage or loss occurs, have the driver make a special note on
the inventory and/or delivery receipt, then promptly notify the
company in writing, keeping a copy for your own files; 6) If you
pack you pay. Remember, if the moving company packs
everything, they are responsible; if you pack things, you are on the
hook for damages. If you pack, place heavy items on the bottom,
lighter ones on top and label boxes; 7) Deal with insured
companies. Ask for a
clearance letter from
the mover stating
that they have
insurance coverage.
If they don't, you

MOORE FROM OTTAWA
By Fundy Royal MP, the Hon. Rob Moore
Exploring around Fundy Royal, it is difficult not to
be awed by the natural beauty that surrounds us.
The Bay of Fundy is world-renowned for its
splendor, and is also in the running for the New 7
Wonders of Nature contest. It is the only Canadian
site in the competition, and it is right in our own backyard. Subaru receives top

We are all proud of the beauty that our province has to offer, and
this past week, even more great news has come to Fundy Royal. Our
government announced in our 2009 Budget that the Fundy Trail
Parkway would be designated as a priority project. On Friday June
18th, I was present at the official opening of the newest 4.3 kilometer
section of the Fundy Trail Parkway. Also available: 2.5i IMPREZA 5-door version
Our government has been committed to the Fundy Trail since day
one. After we formed government in 2006, we invested $5.5 million 2010 2.5X
through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency towards the starting from $25,995
completion of Phase II of the Fundy Trail, and on April 8th, 2009, Taxes, freight and
Prime Minister Harper announced an additional $5 million towards preparation extra
its completion. The Fundy Trail is not only a source of pride for New
Brunswick, but also a centre of tourism, as it has welcomed over
500,000 guests since it was opened in 1998.
I hope that all residents of Fundy Royal and visitors to New
Brunswick will take time this summer to see all that Fundy Royal
has to offer. 214 Japanese and a whole lot more!

OK, your are reading this so it is safe to assume you want to lose

to do right.
Little attention is given on the “what not to do”:
12. Skipping breakfast. Mother was right on this one. It is the most
Canada Games Centre Aquatique important meal of the day.
Aquatic Centre Jeux du Canada 13. Starving all day. When you finally get around to eating, it is
usually something unhealthy (because you "can"), and it gets stored
as energy later, rather and burned as energy now. You totally mess up

14. Binging after "falling off the wagon” and waiting until

this journey. Make it your goal to lengthen the amount of time

is a physical condition. Blond isn't a trait either, it is a hair color! Do
not allow yourself to be branded by any physical attribute or

17. Not living each day to the fullest ... thinking that it will come when
you are thinner. Be, do and then you will have! Be a healthier person,
Do the things a healthier person does and soon, you will have a
healthier life style.
18. Thinking and depending on pills, powders, or potions, are more

19. Thinking of exercise as a chore instead of a way to improve your

Check out the details on our website 20. Indulging excessively in alcohol. Bottom line -when you drink,

Hazel was a faithful member of The United

helping hand or provide a listening ear to anyone in
need. She loved to laugh and her infectious laughter

enjoyed quilting and loved the outdoors. She had
many fond memories of her time spent going for

Most of all, Hazel loved spending time with her
family and will be remembered as a loving wife,
mother, sister and friend.
Besides her husband, Bill, Hazel is also survived by
her daughter, Janet Randles (Paul Owen) of
Hampton; her son, Tim Randles (Nadine) of

Hopkins and two brothers, Hazen and Basil.
The largely attended funeral was held on Tuesday,
June 15th, 2010, from Quispamsis United Church.
Rev. Audrey Lounder officiated and was assisted by
Rev. Keith Lyons. The organist for the service was
Pat Vincent. Congregational hymns were “Life’s
Railway to Heaven,” “Precious Lord, Take My
Hand” and “Nearer, My God, to Thee.”
Remembrances of Hazel were shared by her son,
Tim. The reading “God’s Master Plan” was read by
Paul Owen. The poem “To Those I Loved and Those

NBCC SCHOLARSHIPS -
LOCAL RECIPIENTS
Fifty students in the New
Brunswick Community College
(NBCC) and Collège
communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) system have been
awarded Wage Gap Action Plan scholarships for 2010-11. The
announcement was made today by Health Minister Mary Schryer,
who is also minister responsible for the status of women.
The program was introduced in 2006 as part of the provincial
government's Wage Gap Action Plan. It is intended to encourage
people entering their first year at community college to seek careers
in trades, technology and others sectors where participation to date
by men and women has been limited. The goal of the scholarship
program is to help reduce the effect that job clustering has on New
Brunswick's wage gap.
Each non-renewable scholarship awarded has a value of up to
$2,600, equal in value to one-year full tuition of a regular program at
S community college, up to the program total of $150,000 per year.
Fifty-three scholarships were awarded in 2009-10. The provincial
MUSCLE government employs two mentors who work with students in non-
traditional programs.

kids, cursed by mothers, gloppy (is that a

transporting out the woods road to fill in some of the more
voracious holes. We took the dog for a walk out through that way a
