Starter

Main activities Activity 1 : JIGSAW
In a home group, each student will
become an expert and they have to
choose the part of the speech
Students move to their expert group
based on their part of speech and
have to discuss in the expert group
Students discuss the
- Definition
- 10 examples words
- 2 sentences
Students go back to their home
group
Each expert shares what she/he
learned.
Activity 2: GALLERY WALK
In home group, students need to
construct sentences based on the
parts of speech
Students write the sentences on a
mah-jong paper
Students paste the mah-jong paper
on the wall
Plenary Teacher recaps the lesson by mentioning
the lesson objective and success criteria
