PERSONAL PROFILE:

Currently Completing a Diploma course in Media Studies (Film and Television). The course allows me to develop
my creative skills communicating these through various filmmaking techniques. Also I have considerably
improved my creative writing skills. On a personal side I have also gained more confidence when meeting and
working with new people. I am an enthusiastic learner and can establish good working relationships without
hesitation. Alongside my college course I have worked part-time at Scorpio Signs as a Sign Making & Graphic
Assistant, which has developed my commercial awareness, decision making and time management. Now
seeking work experience in the media industry, in a creative forward thinking environment.

WORK EXPERIENCE :

Scorpio Signs Cheshire Sign Making & Graphics Assistant December 2015 To Present Day

- Assisting the design team installing wall art (decorative wall coverings) in schools and colleges, which
developed my manual skills.
- Installing high level signs on site, which required operating industrial machinery, this helped to develop
my technical skill set and flexibility in my work approach.
- Measuring up areas of buildings in various different locations to assist planning production and
installation of signage. This has helped improve my numeric skills and self organisation.
- Meeting and greeting clients on site which improved my customer service skills and further developed
my levels of professionalism.
- Assisting the design team in preparing and applying vehicle livery and working in the graphics studio,
measuring and cutting vinyl. This has improved my team work skills.
- Working on designing the company website, inserting hyperlinks, ensuring the layout and design
matched the company branding and all information displayed was clear and concise.

St Nicholas Catholic High School (2010- 2015) - 2 GCSE Grades (C+), (Maths and English)
Mid Cheshire College (2015 2016) - Media Studies Level 2 Diploma x 3 Distinctions and x1 Merit (Equivalent
to 3 GCSEs)
Mid Cheshire College (2016 to present day) Media Studies Level 3 Diploma - Film and Television

INTERESTS:

As a lover of filmmaking, my interests consist of writing reviews and making editorial videos. In my spare time, I
enjoy creating stop-motion animations, where I produce my own short films which can be viewed on my own
personal You Tube Channel. I enjoy keeping fit, swimming and running as this helps keep me motivated.
