TO BE THE GREATEST PETROLEUM ENGINEER WOMAN

I have strong passion and curiosity on the

petroleum engineering major. Therefore, My dream is
to be the greatest petroleum engineer woman. Perhaps
most difficult of all is the attempt to achieve my dream
within The job dominated by men. Even though the
men dominate in oil and gas industry, but Ill conquer
this job after I become the best expert. Before that I
want to be reservoir engineer first, because I think a
reservoir engineering is the root of petroleum
engineering.
As We know, a reservoir engineer always do a
prediction about the reservoir condition. When I did an
internship, I had learned a sonolog. That was read a
pressure at every depth, which has a dynamic pressure
and a static pressure thenceforward we could predict
the reservoir condition from these prameters. Beside that it could used for production data also.
Furthermore a prediction for a field development, it was learned with using the CMG
(Computer Modelling Group) software. This software is a reservoir simulation modelling, that
can know a reservoir condition with creating a reservoir model. Developmet need to know
well performance also, thus using PIPESIM to know it. The other software to know well
performance that is PROSPER I've learned it while the petroleum engineers men and I
designed the pump for some wells whom worked until morning in the office notwithstanding
felt tiring , it was increasingly interested me to Oil and Gas Industry.
Beside Ive done an internship and trained these softwares, I had studied in field. Its a
Cepu geological field course. Cepu is a nature laboratory, which can appeared the stucture of
formation by mapping. While the impressive things in geothermal, oil, and gas field course
threre was a wireline engineer who became My mentor at that time. Besides technical learning,
The skill need to developed also, so that I join with SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) and
Society of Petroleum Engineering Students in UPN Veteran Yogykarta. That learned about
a leadership. Finally, Ill gain like what I wanna be at the bright future.
