Activities: Video display which is already saved on file server for students convenience. Group discussion
and question answer session.

Initial task: Given the concepts by making theme with the real world examples

Lecture: The amazing computer concepts will be discussed through powerpoint presentations and video.

Practice/ Discussion: basics terminologies will be discussed in detail like:

Exploring Computers and their uses : Overview: Computers in our world, The computer defined,
Computers for individual users, Computers for organizations, Computers in society, Why are computers so
important.

Looking inside the computer system:


Overview: Detecting the ultimate machine, The parts of a computer system, The information processing
cycle, Essential computer hardware: processing devices, memory devices, Input and output devices,

Activities: Display hardware and software video saved on fileserver for student convenience, Group
discussion , question answers session.

Activities: Display videos, Group discussion, question answers session.

Initial task: Given the concept through examples.

Lecture: The lecture will be delivered on MS powerpoint.

Practice/ Discussion: Basics terminologies and then detailed will be discussed.
