Work Summarization
Finished by Microwave work is day to day work. Since almost all the transmissions

subcontractor in our region are through microwave all the departments need
microwave assistances. I will summarize some of the tasks that are
finished and those on progress.
I completed the microwave PAT in CWR. The below two links are the
two remaining final links I signed in this month. So we fully 100%
completed the microwave PAT in CWR region

As per the plan the next phase of the project is the maintenance
phase. In CWR we have so many microwave issues that I have solved
with the technicians. Some of the main issues are;
The link CWR5061-CWR5060 is down for three days. Since this
site is SWAP site its the responsibility of ET Engineers to fix it.
They have tried to troubleshoot the problem, but they cant.
Finally Mr. Zhao requested me to go to this site. I have gone to
this site and found that there is modem failure on the Downlink
site CWR5060, so I changed the modems.
Due to the problem with backplane we changed the IDU on the
site CWR5060.
Adding another port for the E-Guard configuration for so many
 sites. The E-Guard team requested us to open another
additional port for them. So I configured another port for so
many sites.
E1 Configuration for so many different sites. So many CDMA and
PSTN are down so we tried to troubleshoot the problem with the
customer and due to port problem there are so many that we
changed the port configuration.
The above are the generalized main tasks done. But there are a
lot of daily tasks that makes you busy. Like giving support for
any maintenance teams on site.
In addition to Microwave I have been working with the E-Guard teams.
Some of the main duties I accomplished in this month are;
Configuration of server IP for so many CWR EISU. Coz so many
EISU will not recover after the site is UP.
Daily CWR E-Guard down sites report. The ET supervisors
requested us to send daily down sites report to them. So I have
been sending them for over a month.
Other miscellaneous support for the technicians on site like;
checking the EISU status by pinging and looking at sensor alarm
information. Etc.

Works to be done in the future. In addition to the day to day report and
maintenance, the below are some of the works I think should be done
in the future.
Monitoring and maintenance of any Microwave issues in our
region.
The customers are requesting us to add zonal information
(WAAZ and SWAAZ) to our naming system. So we will discuss
with Mr. Liang and try to handle it.
SNCP configuration of the sites that are on the Ring. Coz there
is only ring configuration for the Native Ethernet service or
ERPS. But the native TDM service is not configured.
Giving training for ET Engineers on how to use the client
(MS5000) and handle any microwave issue by themselves.
There are links that needs alignment and sites with modem
 failure. Im working with the customers to handle it for the
SWAP sites and our teams will handle it for the new sites.
Finally, I recommend that its better to change the privilege for
different users. Because anybody can login in to the IDU and do
whatever they want.
