Energy Heat Thermodynamics

Energy Definition: Capacity to do work or to
transfer heat. Can involve mechanical,
physical, chemical or electrical tasks or
electrical heat transfers between objects
at different temperatures.
Relationship/Connection: When the
motion of energy is created, the
atoms, ions or molecules will move
faster, and that matter will become
warmer.
Relationship/Connection: Energy cannot
be created or destroyed, and can only
result in a lower energy quality. In nature,
the sporadic motions of molecules will
create heart, and can only be transferred
from one point to another until the energy
quality becomes low.

Heat Definition: Total kinetic energy of all Relationship/Connection: The quantity of

randomly moving atoms, ions, or heat depends on the motion of energy of
molecules within a given substance, molecules in matter and if it meets with
