KALPATARU

The divine tree which fulfills all our wishes our cake is decorated in a way to promote afforestation.

Our cake is called kalpataru a Sanskrit word which means the divine tree which grants all our wishes.
If every tree can be called a Kalpataru because without oxygen given by them we have no life and
without food given by t hem there is no animal sustenance at all.

Through this cake decoration we want to promote the saying Vruksho Rakshati Rakshathaha
Save a tree and it will save mankind with the world today losing 1 acre forests for every second,
almost 28000 species specially proceeding towards extinction fastly depleting water resources
enormously increasing green house gas emissions Afforestation is the need for the day.

All our technology and advancement would be a waste if we are not able to live on this world so
through this decoration we want to gather momentum for the programme of planting trees sustaining
lives. To decorate the cake I have used fondant of two colors, white fondant & brown fondant. I used
food colors to colour leaves & basic flowers etc. I used marzipan to prepare mushrooms, and bugs. I
used coco powder to create a natural effect. We have used caramelized sugar to create this nest
here. I have used every part of the cake and theres zero wastage left over crumbs edges etc have
been crumbled mixed with coco powder to form the sand. I have used gumpaste to create this small
pebbles and rocks here.
