The Battle of the Spirits

In the beginning, there was nothing but an inky blackness and two powerful spirits locked in

an endless battle. The first spirit was a bright light in the endless darkness of the universe, for she

was the spirit of lighting by the name of Electra. The spirit she was fighting thrived off of the

darkness for he was the spirit of pure evil, by the name of Amrodidon. After much fighting between

the two, Electra decided that she needed time to rest and to create a plan to fight Amrodidon. So she

used her great powers to travel to another dimension much like her own. Once she arrived there,

Electra discovered that without Amrodidon near her, she could finally use her powers to create. After

many days, the planet of Elfrodia was born with its inhabitants, the immortal Elverian.

After many years of living on Elfrodia with the Elverian, Electra decided what she needed to

defeat Amrodidon was not just a clever strategy but a group of spirits to fight at her side. So she used

her powers of lightning to create several more lighting spirits to guide her, but she sensed that she

would need more to defeat Amrodidon. Then it came to her, instead of destroying Amrodidon, she

needed to seal him away so he could not harm her creation. By using her powers, Electra became

pregnant with twins, one male and one female. Once the babies were born, Electra saw the girl, with

locks of silver hair, was a powerful spirit of Air. My child of Air, I name you Ariella the Sky

Queen. The boy, with black hair, was a powerful spirit of darkness, but not like Amrodidon, she

could tell her son had a good heart. My child of the peaceful Darkness, I name you Darvoco the

Night King. Several years after the twins were born, Electra gave birth to another daughter, who had

flaming red hair with the power of Fire. My child of warmth and fire, I name you Flarisia the
Volcanic Queen. At the time of each of her childrens birth, Electra gave them a third of a powerful

spell which could seal Amrodidon away, in addition to this each child bore a small piece of their

siblings power.

After all of her children were fully grown, Electra gathered them all together. My children,

as you have been told, in another dimension evil rules. I have been away from the battle for too long

and must return to fight him again. All three of the spirits were shocked at their mothers words for

she had told them of Amrodidon and they knew of the great power he possessed. Ariella, who

matured into great wisdom and beauty with her massive silver and gold wings, said Mother, you

must not go back there. You told us how powerful Amrodidon is and Im certain that he will not

hesitate to destroy you. The other two agreed with their sister and the three of them pleaded with

their mother not to go. Electra smiled at the three powerful spirits she created, knowing that they

would be the key to Amrodidons defeat. I understand your fears, my children, and one day we will

be together again. Inside each of you is a third of the power it will take to seal Amrodidon away. I

must do all I can to keep him from finding you until you discover how to unite your powers to lock

him away forever. After much more arguing, they conceded to their mothers wish and let Electra

go. Before she left, Electra created three spheres of light that together form a portal which would take

her to the other plane. She gave each child a sphere of light to safeguard in her absence.

After Electra left, the three spirits separated and each created a realm for their people in a

place that highlighted the beauty of their power. Once all the realms were complete, the three

siblings relationship became tense. They decided to make a place to meet by combining their powers

together. At first they were all agreed at what the place should look like, but soon discord arose

through the group. Ariella wanted an open airy place, while Darvoco wanted a dark enclosed place

much like a cave. Flarisia though that both ideas would not work and that the place need to be warm

and filled with kindness. One day the arguing grew to such an extreme that Ariella used her powers
to silence her siblings. She had never used her power on her siblings before and was horrified when

she realized what she had done. In retaliation, Darvoco sent blades of pure darkness toward Ariella.

At the sight of the blades, Flarisia sent a small ball of fire toward Darvoco. This caused him to lose

concentration so he could doge the fire in time. After several minutes of shock they realized what

they had done, and they parted ways, and did not speak to each other for many years.

As the years stretched on, the siblings decided that they needed a place to meet in peace, in

the neutral mortal realm. So, they tried a second time to create a meeting place, even though they had

not spoken to each other for many years. By combining their powers, a palace of crystal was created

from Air, Darkness, and Fire perfectly. In the future, Elverians would go to that holy place and take

small pieces of the crystal to serve as an anchor point for spirits. The moment the crystal palace,

called the Elspiritus, was complete, the elements started to react to something. The elements of

Water, Earth, and Light were creating their own spirits named, Aquella, the River Queen, Emcoro,

the Mountain King, and Solasira, the Day Queen. After much discussion, the original three siblings

guided the three new spirits in creating their own realms as well as a small counsel where they could

discuss matters. Then all six of the spirits met and formed the counsel of six spirits, which would

decide which issues from the counsel of three would be brought to the highest counsel of them all,

the counsel of the three siblings.

Though the many years since Electra left, when Ariella, Darvoco, and Flarisia finally learned

to put aside their differences and to combine their powers and form the spell to seal away

Amrodidon. Their plan was simple, have Electra lure Amrodidon to Elfrodia, where Aquella,

Emcoro, and Solasira would use a spell to distract, him while the sealing spell was cast. So, the three

siblings brought forth their pieces of Elecrtas portal and combined them. Immediately Electra,

jumped through the portal followed closely by a man wrapped in pure darkness and evil. Though he

looked like Darvoco with the same grey skin, Amrodidon radiated pure evil power instead of
Darvocos kindness. The moment Amrodidon stepped through the portal; the spirits knew they had

made a terrible mistake.

At the sight of Amrodidon, Darvoco fell to his knees as the evil darkness of Amrodidon

attempted to corrupt him. Ariella and Flarisia were badly injured while trying to get to their brother.

This left Solarsira, Aquella, Emcoro, and an exhausted Electra to seal Amrodidon away. Just then

Darvoco stood up, his eyes, which were normally the same light blue as Ariellas, had turned a deep

crimson red nearly identical to Amrodidons. He walked up next to Amrodidon, the kindness and

justness that normally radiated off of him had turned into the same evil as Amrodidon. It became

very clear to Electra, Ariella, and Flarisia that Amrodidon had turned their dear Darvoco into a

servant of darkness. As Ariella and Flarisia laid on floor crying for their brother, the ground cracked

open revealing Emcoro, and Aquella, preventing Amrodidon and Darvoco from seeing them. As they

brought the injured sisters to safety, Solarisira fought Darvoco in order to keep him from the sisters.

When Ariella and Flarisia were a safe distance away, Solarisira grabbed Electera and

followed after them. As they fled, Ariella revealed the location of the Elspiritus, where everyone

gathered to form a plan against Amrodidon and his slave, Darvoco. Once everyone arrived at the

Elspiritus, Airella, Flarisia, and Electera just sat together and cried for their corrupted son and

brother. It wasnt until after several minuets that Electera spoke. We have to save Darvoco. Then

she looked around the room and noticed something. All of you are Elemental opposites. This means

that not only can we heal Ariella and Flarisia, but we can also save Darvoco. By putting a small piece

of the opposite power in a spirit, we can heal ones injuries but it can also break element specific

enchantments. After much discussion a plan was formed. Then Electra took a small piece of

Emcoros power and placed it in Ariella instantly healing her and giving Emcoro a small piece of her

power. Once she did the same with Aquella and Flarisia, the group left to confront Darvoco and

Amrodidon.
 The moment they arrived at the battle field, Ariella stepped forward and shouted, Darvoco.

With a nod from Amrodidon, Darvoco stepped toward Ariella. You should not have come, sister.

Now you shall be destroyed he sneered at her. As he went to confront her, Flarisia, Aquella, and

Emcoro simultaneously started to attack Amrodidon. Darvoco turned to assist his master, when

Ariella used the power of air to hold him in place. This gave Electra and Solarisia time to approach

him and to place a small piece of Solarisias power into him. When Ariella released her hold on him,

Darvoco clasped to the ground and his eyes, as well as his power, returned to their original state.

Once it was confirmed that Amrodidons hold on Darvoco had been severed, Flarisia went to stand

with her brother and sister. Shall we do this? Asked Flarisia when she reached them . They all

nodded.

Once everyone was a safe distance away, Ariella, Darvoco, and Flarisia faced each other and

placed their right hands together. As they combined their powers, Ariella started to speak, With the

power of the sure head of Air. Darvoco spoke next, With the power of the steady hand of

Darkness. Finally, Flarisia spoke her line, And with the kind heart of Fire, Then as one the three

finished the spell of sealing, As three elements combine their strength, enteral binds they create. We

seal thee for all eternity. In a flash of blinding light, Amrodidon was encased in black crystal and

sealed inside the core of a neighboring planet.

In the end, Electra returned to her original realm, which she turned in to the domain of

Lighting. Unlike the other realms, the portal to Electras realm remained in three pieces, which were

kept in possession of Ariella, Darvoco, and Flarisia as they had been before. The three siblings still

fought but not to the drastic lengths they used to, and they made a vow never to use their powers on

each other unless necessary. Each spirit took their piece of the portal and locked it within the safety

of their own realm, where their power was absolute. With Amrodidon sealed away, all was well
